MALCOLM ROBERTS
Senator for Queensland with One Nation
With a long history of seeking the truth, Malcolm believes Parliament needs to return to the facts to get back on track. Malcolm’s areas of focus include:
Building dams and water infrastructure such as the Hybrid-Bradfield Scheme and exposing mismanagement of the Murray Darling Basin.
Reducing electricity prices, increasing the supply of reliable energy and ending the government obsession with renewables.
Ending the control of unelected bureaucrats over Australia’s way of life, exiting the United Nations and restoring our sovereignty.
Opposing full foreign ownership of Australian land and forcing multinational companies to pay their fair share of tax.

“The decades of Government inaction on issues in the, ‘too hard’ basket is killing our country. We’re not afraid to listen and take up the things affecting Australians everyday.”

With a strong background in engineering, mining and business leadership, Malcolm brings a real world perspective to Parliament that the ranks of major party lawyers and former union bosses miss.
He has led the operational development of Australia’s largest and most complex underground coal project, setting many new industry firsts.
After being disqualified along with 14 others from sitting in Parliament in the 2017-18 eligibility crisis, Malcolm campaigned for election again in 2019 where he was successful with a huge increase in vote.

I seemed to have upset my colleagues when I questioned why more than half a million dollars was being spent on a grant exploring “Indigenous connections to outer space” and whether Aboriginal people “cared for other plants.”
How do such projects help Australians who are living in tents, skipping meals, or struggling to pay rent?
While people are hurting, the Labor government is spending $1 billion a year on grants like this.
Taxpayers deserve to know why.

My eyes just rolled so hard I saw the inside of my brain and it was black. I must be eligible for a grant.
Labor gravy train.
What on earth!! I mean space lol
Plants, or planets??
This is legit! But tax payers money doesn’t have to fund picking mushrooms ffs. Im sure we could put half a mill to better use. 😆
Might be easier if the grant reason is "I want cash"
How does 500 thousand turn into a billion?
They live in outer space .
Maybe actually help the Indigenous, my Indigenous friend needs new wheels on her moped but badoc in Ballarat more interested in taking her out in a group with others, she needs wheels not a bloody cup of tea!
Is someone smoking crack in the chambers?? 🤦♀️
If the government can spend $20 million on an advertising campaign to tell people to pump up their tyres and remove roof racks to reduce fuel consumption I have no problem giving the first nation people money to talk to aliens. Give them a chance ay🤷♂️

The $270 Billion Dollars pledged to Lockheed Martin and friends based on the nebulous and intangible spectre of "a more dangerous post-covid world" never seems to get a look in when we audit the budget but the good Senator Roberts never misses an opportunity to wildly misrepresent the objectives of comparatively paltry research grant recipients in any scenario where his own demographic isn't getting a tickle.
Malcolm is so much smarter than the PM he’s been in charge Of large companies pitty our People don’t support him enough please keep going. 👏👏👏👏
What the hell does money really fall from the sky sky
Thank you Malcom Roberts. This was alarming and hilarious at the same time. I particularly loved the reference to Buzz Lightyear.
Will aliens visiting earth now have to endure a welcome to country?
I wish their was a shake my head emoji
Alot of different accents in that room.
Space projects connected to Indigenous in Canada as well so next government can get out of bad deals, is this a theme or has it been planned this way world wide. Can’t be coincidence if many countries are forcing the same angle.
Thank you Senator for always highlighting the issues
Political pensions?
They don’t care about outer space etc and I don’t think most people care about it either !😡 What a waste of money when we could be feeding our own
There must be an audit into all aboriginal funding.🇦🇺

The government has always run on jobs for mates whether they are qualified or not it’s a case of looking after each other. It’s a problem and it’s legal to do so I really doubt that it will change it’s wrong and there are better qualified people who can do a better job than the standard rules in favour of politicians and ex politicians.
While he contributed to climate change by his travel. As for conflict of interest - one would think there's even more to it than that, though that's my layman's view...
Malcolm they must all be in it!
Chris Bowen MP please explain?? 🐢
As always great work Senator Malcolm Roberts 👏🧡🇦🇺

Other countries have already said climate change is a scam! 🤦🏼♀️ As they say, a rule for thee but not for me!!
Malcolm. You are ignoring the very, very, very HOT summers over the past few years in Europe. Climate change is happening.
They come up with science that is peer-reviewed, you come up with no science backed and peer-reviewed information.
Well hello, Malcolm, the question is finally being asked. This MP and senior role in prior NSW Libs as treasurer? This MP who jumped shil to supprt Labor? This MP who is now being paid handsomely so it seems by forreign interestsand private companies?? Keep at it ... as there are a few others who need close scrutiny?
How that flog was ever in the libs is unreal. He is anything but a liberal.
Fckn idiots
Senator Malcolm Roberts Matt is what I Call Labor in Liberal clothing. I’m listening to you ,Pauline Hanson's One Nation Party ,James Ashby - Pauline Hanson’s One Nation , Barnaby Joyce, David Farley for Farrer - One Nation . And the rest of the One Nation Team are working their way around Australia , hand picking candidates to run in every seat in every electorate in every state. So the Real Australian people have a choice at the next election Federal or state. This is what our prime minister looks like in my eyes at the moment. 🍺😇👍👌
Seems perfectly reasonable to me, NOT! What an amazing team they make
A $68.5 million budget measure (allocated over three years) intends to provide HIV treatment to people who are not eligible for Medicare.
Why are Australian taxpayers funding treatment for non-citizens when we are in the middle of a cost-of-living crisis?

Always "um" 20 times in a speach when they are trying to remember their pre written narrative?
Our migration to Australia was delayed by 6 months because our Dad had a shadow on his lung from his time as a firefighter during WWII. The Australian Health Authority needed to be satisfied that it was not Tuberculosis (TB) before permitting our entry. It wasn't TB and we were finally admitted. Seems we don't test them before they come here.
So dept pass the buck to avoid issues.
I had an aids test before I was accepted into Australia. Why has that changed
Have they had all immunisation and vaccinations prior to entry
When my family applied to come to this country. Every person had to have a complete medical. Then had to wait a year. Then another final check, if ALL were well, they were granted migration visa's to Australia. If anyone was sick, the whole family were denied visa's. It was to make sure Australia was not accepting migrants that would be a liability, instead of an asset
Uummmm we don’t have that data,, what is a debt…. don’t worry we’ll just print more money.
Good lord ..how do these ppl hold these significant important positions and roles???? They have no accountability ..just rort
Thankyou Senator Malcolm Roberts . Your spot on .
If they cant get in because if assessed costs being too high then why do we need to budget millions of dollars for the treatment? Struggling to answer as fn usual you muppets.
Omg. No words. 🤬 Thank you Malcolm for all you do.
I understand why they're confused, the lead up and explanation was not quite there, but: Yes, the threshold being what it is, and the HIV allocation both mean that people can bring in family or even "spouses" for taxpayer funded treatments they couldn't afford or get in say Africa. Also the fact that "refugees" aren't beholden to that, means we have plenty of them coming in, getting diagnosed with disabilities and ripping off the NDIS on top of free medical treatment too. Australia simply cannot afford it. Why exactly are we allowing people into Australia who can infect our citizens? That's likely the question that led to that budgetary line item 🤦🏼♀️ but it should rather be that they can't get in - even "refugees". Who's standing guard ensuring those people take their meds? I agree people should just keep it in their pants, wait till marriage and get tested before DtD - but they won't, so let's keep people from other countries who don't HAVE to be here, out 🌻
I had to have all sorts of tests before I got my visa and I'm from UK.
I can answer the question Mr Roberts. YES IT IS A WAY OF GETTING A FAMILY MEMBER IN. There now we all know yes is the answer.
They don’t understand the question. WOW pretty simple.
Yet we pay a fortune for our kids to go to the dentist. What a joke
Drop in the ocean compared to what the NDIS is costing for special visa holders
Exactly!!!
Why could they not understand the question? The answer is obviously yes. The government makes it easy for already accepted migrants to bring family members into Australia. It stands to reason that if a family member is sick, the already accepted migrants will want to bring them to Australia to receive free (tax payer funded) treatment. Treatment they would not be able to get elsewhere because of cost or lack of treatment availability. When Australians cannot receive the same treatment but a migrants family member can, there’s a problem.
So come in from another country and medication is free or there abouts. Be born in Australia and we pay through the nose. Yep, that makes sense
Great question… seems we fund everything.. enjoy work tomorrow Legends🤙
So our kids are waiting 4 years minimum for any medical procedures 4 years minimum wait for any mental health care yet we are giving away free healthcare and medical treatments to non citizens! How can we still stand for this deterioration of our country by a backwards, corrupt degenerate government we have in power now! How dare they look our children in the eyes and tell them they have a future in this country!!!!
I can’t understand how these so-called highly intelligent labour senators supposedly running our country that are in charge of their own portfolio cannot answer basic questions. What are the implications of telling the truth or answering a simple yes or no question? Eg: Yes, at this stage people can bring other family members in and be funded for any medical issues but we are looking at changing this policy, would be a better answer than, duhhhh, I don’t understand your question or just flat out saying I do not know why !! It makes those Labor senators in charge of individual portfolios/policy’s look really stupid to us Aussies and really hard to stomach that it is coming out of our taxpayer dollars to fund people entering the country with diseases that other people can catch. And more the fact that an Aussie living here would have to fund their own medical bills if they were in that position. Bring on ONE NATION, the sooner the better. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
But albo is bringing in doctors engineers and technicians to better Australia isn't he???? How do they work when not healthy???
I think he’s right once again.
