The Big 4 banks have been ripping Australians off for decades. Taking all the profits, they’re leaving regional communities in the dust, closing branches and strangling small business capital. We need a people’s bank in Australia.

I had the pleasure of speaking in support of people’s bank last week in Canberra

Thank you Malcolm, I well remember the Commonwealth Bank. I had a bank book and often went to our local bank for deposits, withdrawals and advice from staff. We badly need that now as personal service is usually a car trip away and they don’t have my trust as the Commonwealth did.

Suncorp lost their way over 20 years ago, and the ex British Army Tank Commander became the CEO.

From an EX-Suncorp Customer who joined Heritage Bank in Toowoomba, that reminded me of, and still consistently does so, of how Banking was done years ago with the focus on the Customer.

Nothing is too much trouble, and all done with civility.

Thank you once again Senator Roberts for your tireless work for the Australian ppl.I would like to see an Australian ppls bank where ppl felt confident their $$$ was safe n the customer had control over their own money which has been denied for sometime.I am very concerned with this great reset of digital credit system being pushed as we will have aboustley no control at all than.

Congratulations again on all you are doing Malcolm. This is exactly the only way to restore some decency, fairness and competition to the banking sector, alongside service to in particular the regions. I finally left the Conn Bank when, after 30 odd years, they refused to put our money IN the bank, and I could write a novel on the incompetence and havoc they wrought on just us.
But how on earth will we get it past the globalists in parliament and bureaucracy who ruining, not running our country? It is the complete opposite of the direction their corruption is taking us in.

I support this, and thankyou for talking about. This is a great pivot. Put the energy back into Australia. Create a deflationary environment, support innovation, entrepreneurs, manufacturing, self sufficiency. Thankyou to you all especially Malcolm and Gerard for your forward thinking.

With CBDC’s fast becoming a reality we need to stand up and stop government overreach of all kinds. We are slowly, inch by inch, slipping into a totalitarian dystopia. Anyone that does not believe, or see it happening around us is ignorant. It 8s not a conspiracy theory, it’s conspiracy fact. And our government have signed up to it. Idiots like Chris Bowen will destroy this country and 10’s of thousands will.sufger at his hand!

Was a Gold Card Customer of ANZ bank, and on moving to Brisbane joined the SUNCORP Bank. – removed myself from both Banks over 35+ Years ago.

Joined HERITAGE BANK Toowoomba QLD and never looked back since. NEVER one Complaint in the 12 years I have used them. NOTHING is too much trouble for them. Even to ringing me Overseas and being very human in their contact at all times.

How and when can our populace be taught that Debit banking, which is what we currently have, is self destructive, gives banks unmitigated power over our economy, our financial viability and leaves we, the public, with no control, ownership of our economy, our national wealth. Debit banking is where money is created, out of nothing, is not tied to any tangible resource, as it once was to gold, which makes it valueless, gives bankers a great means to increase or devalue our money, whenever they feel so inclined, and our intrinsic financial security is worthless.
With no money to call our own our wealth, personal, maybe devalued at any time, whilst the bankers are making gigantic profits by charging us interest on what is, realistically, ours?.
If A represent all money available, and B represents interest to be paid to banks for our accessing our own money, how can A plus B equal A? This is the greatest theft ever perpetrated on we, the people, and, rectifying the situation is simple, just change from Debit banking to Credit banking, where money is created as credit to the community, not a debt.

Germany got rid of international debit/credit financial slavery banking system during the Great Wars and became a European powerhouse surpassing all other Western economies at the time. Instead of supporting Germany, other Western cronies banded together and destroy Germany and demonise its people too after it’s all over.

People’s Bank?! That’s not going to happen umless Australia wants to suffer the same fate as Germany!

Western countries- and the world for that matter- had literally a “golden opportunity” to get rid of the international slavery fiat paper money banking system once and for all during pre-WW2. YOU did not take the opportunity, so it’s too late to start now!

    Dear Malcolm,
You are a brave champion, who is sooo appreciated.
Keep standing strong and may our God give you strategies and insight to
block and stop the agendas of the WEC and all the other evil people who
    distort the truth.
    Thank you!

That is the best news I have heard lately, and like many others I am also worried about the future agenda of the WHO, WEF and so on, with their plan to control us and OUR money. If we do not do what they want then they cut off our access to our own money. HOW DARE THEY.
Bring on the peoples bank, I live in Victoria and if you want me to get anything out there, even letterbox drops, I WILL DO THAT.
We need to help as many people as possible to be able to survive the coming future.
Thank you Malcolm, Gerard, Bob and the many other’s that are fighting against the elite’s agenda. You are ALL up there with the greats of history in my book.
    Let’s get this going ASAP.

We already have a bank run by community, the Bank of Australia. I just learned recently. Everyone with an account has a vote where your money gets invested. But, wouldn’t hurt to have more choices and branches spread allover the different states.

Some really good points. I think a mixture of public and private is a good balance. I believe that this provides a bench mark to keep the private sector in line.

Australians need some measure of security for their savings, superannuation etc. Currently, all seems to be at risk if the authorities choose.to confiscate hard earned money.

A great initiative – public bank. I was brought up in a Queensland Housing Commisssion home, for whic my father obtained a Commonwealth Bank home loan, in 1957, to bulid a home for his wife & 4 children. I still own that home, a solid hardwood timber framed & floored home, with, damnit, fibro external walls. We didn’t know any better in those days. Agreed, if you want to address the current issue with increasing rents, homelessness & so on, go back to a public bank & enable those that don’t have the upfront assets, to pay off their homes. My father finally paid off that loan, just after he lost his job, & some years before he died from cancer. If not for that Housing Commission/Commonealth Bank assistance to own our first & only home, I am sure my mother & an intellectually brother would have been out on the street. I will most definitely support such an initiative. Yes, I have bank oended rental properties, for which I worked very hard long hours, but they are not high end homes, but focussed on the lower end of the rental market. However, with the current APRA required P&I payments now required, I am now selling them off, as I cannot continue such loans, especially as I am a self-funded retiree (nil government support in any way). Go for it.
