The biggest madness about Net Zero is that Australia’s emissions are already at… net zero. Our forests and oceans already absorb many times what is produced by humans.

Transcript

Well done, everyone. What an amazing job you’ve done. I’m delighted to announce that the Commonwealth of Australia has reached its net zero target under the United Nations Paris Climate Agreement 30 years early. Well done, everyone. Senator Babet. Well done. I thank Senator Assistant Minister MacAllister for the definitions she used in the Senate chamber during the climate change bill from Article four of the UN Paris Climate Agreement.

Quote Net zero is a balance between human production of emissions and removal of those emissions by environmental sinks. End of quote. Our country has so many forests that Australia already sequesters sinks three times more carbon dioxide than we produce. Worldwide forests and oceans sink three quarters of human production. Under the Government’s own definition, Australia is already at net zero and the rest of the world is not far behind.

But the Paris Agreement definition of net zero ends with these words quote In the context of sustainable development and efforts to eradicate poverty. The UN Paris Agreement allows development, and that’s great news for our project Iron Boomerang. Yet notice the last part eradicating poverty. If the Albanese government takes measures under its Climate Change Act that increases poverty in Australia, it will be in breach of the UN Paris climate agreement that the Liberal-Nationals signed.

Yet high energy prices from insane energy policies are increasing inflation, destroying wealth, destroying jobs and opportunity, and forcing people into poverty. Our human carbon dioxide production is not breaching the UN’s Paris Agreement. Instead, the destruction of baseload power in this country and worldwide is breaching that agreement and it does not require that action. The Albanese Government cannot pick and choose which elements of the UN Paris Agreement it uses.

One nation will hold this government to the letter of the UN agreement Australia signed, and that is simple. Climate, zealotry and deceit must not push one person into poverty. Not one person, not one, none.

I did read one by Dr Bill Burrows, showing the flawed initial Kyoto Protocols. He used data from 2020, showing Australia was effectively in a 140% carbon sink. Googling ‘Dr Bill Burrows Climate Change’ gives a good list of articles

Agree wholehearted with all your views senator and thank you for fighting for all Australians. One thing the indigenous should have a choice about having there own flag. Thank you for your hard work during these difficult times with so many issues

We have been in net zero for the inception of Australia. China , India , USA, and Europe consumes a lot more than Australia after all almost 26 millions what we consumes? A bit of BBQ?

We are in fact NET NEGATIVE.
The accepted science says we emit 450 million tonnes per year.

The accepted science says on average our ecosystem sinks 1,000 million tonnes per year.

That’s NEGATIVE 550 million tonnes per year!!!

That’s great data Vaughan! Please post the links to your data so I can add this to my sourced when I tackle the complete ignorance of those that believe in anthropogenically induced climate change.

In the Australian today 30/9 regarding AGL
The company’s planned $20bn outlay comes on top of Anthony Albanese’s $20bn election commitment to upgrade transmission infrastructure, a $62bn clean energy plan outlined by the Queensland government, a $32bn energy infrastructure road map in NSW, and $20bn in spending in Victoria.
My estimate of the cost to transition to renewables is about $500B. Most of the renewables only have a 25 year effective life. So we are looking at having to spend $20B a year in replacement costs.

Thank you Malcolm Roberts, you are a true leader of our country Australia & I thank god for you & your team. My main concern re climate is the constant chemtrails, there has been an increase in chemical trails, also known as chemtrails, which many people know nothing about. These trails, unlike condensation trails, do not dissipate quickly into the atmosphere. In addition, there is proof which confirms the presence of there being harmful chemical elements in the trails. Some researchers have studied the composition and effects of this phenomenon, which may to us seem harmless and commonplace. According to these experts, chemical trails are the result of experimental operations which have manifold purposes. The main objectives, albeit unproven, range from the meteorological to the military. The analyses carried out have verified the presence of the following elements in the chemtrails: barium, aluminium, radioactive thorium and caesium, copper, titanium, silicon, lithium, cobalt, lead, ethylene dibromide and several pathogenic agents.

Chemical trails can cause a condition called Morgellons syndrome. It is a disease which causes serious deterioration in the body. As well as this disease, chemtrails are associated with other illnesses such as tumours, Parkinson’s disease and cardiac dysfunction.

Given that the effects on human health caused by the chemical trails seem to be very serious. I have viewed my CCTV cameras and on average see monthly what seems like organisms of some kind floating around in our air supply, it seems to illuminate with light upon it & normally occurs after spraying is seen in our skies followed by rain to bring it down. Thank you Malcolm for being a true voice for the people

I’m sure that the Labor-Teal Government, replete as it is with hardcore socialists will make sure the poor are well looked after (though they will destroy the lower middle and much of the mid tier middle class in the process, resulting in a society where the majority are equally poor). But if you are upper middle class or beyond you can ride on the wave of making big money out of investing in useless Green products that don’t make any difference to anything but apparently everyone wants nonetheless. Like battery farms that will supply about 90 seconds of power to a grid that has no sun and no wind.

    Dear Senator Roberts,
It is time that the political leaders of this country take notice of the unmitigated disaster unfolding in the UK and Europe, to quote only two of many locations, due to the insane commitment to power generation by solar and wind. The process simply does not work and the proposal to use storage (any form) is fundamentally flawed (all storage requires re-charge form the fragile grid). The add the horrendous cost of additional transmission infrastructure and the absolute requirement to fill-in generation when solar and wind fail (as they both inherently do) and you have a financial disaster of monumental proportions. Net Zero aims are pointless – these system FAIL. The real science shows no correlation between CO2 concentration and climate anyway. Please Our Governments get real and stop the insanity that will cost us billions and only achieve power generation collapse.

Good point, Malcolm. I have always thought that the main offenders are actually the people who live in high rise appartments and individually are not at ‘net zero’ but are dependant on others who live in regional and especially in rural Australia. Therefore, we who live in rural Australia ought to be rewarded for the fact that we compensate for those who do not.

Hi Malcolm, thanks for opportunity to comment on this subject.
We as so many other Australians see Hypocrisy every day by this push for a goal that is unachievable 2030 and zero emissions, I refer to every component of gasoline or oils that do not just go into powering engines, I speak of every other thing from plastic bags to makeup to medications. So zero means zero don’t use fossil fuels at all, The Senator Kennedy of Kentucky stated that we need to go back to living in caves and do not burn any wood or fossil fuel so have these moronic colleagues of yours ever thought of this.
