Abundance is not a dirty word, it is a blessing to be celebrated. It is time to return to the Australia we know and love.

As a servant to the people of Queensland and Australia, I note that we are living through a time of great civil disturbance. The media have chosen to fill our screens with exaggerated horror and fear. As a result, families are turning against families, neighbours against neighbours, and employers against employees. At this difficult time, we cannot lose sight of the good in this world. While it is daunting for some, we benefit from counting our blessings and looking forward to again becoming the Australia we all know and love. My message tonight is simple: ‘abundance’ is not a dirty word; it’s a blessing to be appreciated.

Australia is blessed with natural diversity in climate and soil. Somewhere on our continent exist the conditions necessary to grow any crop to rival the world’s best. Whether it’s olives in Inglewood or cashews at Dimbulah, Aussie farmers will always step forward to have a go. As 42 countries slip into food deficits, Australia’s agricultural output is at record highs. We’re literally feeding the world right now, and more water for our farmers will feed more of the world’s hungry. Our entrepreneurship lifted Australia from a prison colony to a top-10 world economy. Australians invented the black box flight recorder, heart pacemakers, the electric drill, bionic hearing, wi-fi hotspots and even Google Maps. This flow of innovation has not stopped. It continues. The University of Queensland has pioneered a world-first tissue culture system that can produce up to 500 avocado plants from a single cutting. This gives Australian producers the ability to bring new cultivars to market, faster, cheaper and using fewer chemicals than anywhere else in the world. The world avocado market is valued at $20 billion, and Australia has only $500 million of that so far.

Let’s look at mining. An Australian invention called the Reflux Classifier allows for the recovery of minerals that normally run to waste in the processing of ore. The University of Newcastle pioneered this recent technology, returning $1.5 billion in royalties to Australia every year. The University of Newcastle recently registered a patent on a new type of low-cost thermal storage called miscibility gap alloy. Miscibility gap alloy raises the promise of storing energy from non-baseload power sources, to be fed back into the grid at times of peak energy demand. This has the potential for a multibillion dollar export and licensing industry. I certainly hope so, because that may stop some arguments about the proliferation of unreliable renewables—what I call ‘intermittents’. Miscibility gap alloy could not exist without carbon and without mining. The economic powerhouse that is Australian mining has kept Australia out of recession these last two years. At one point, we had the world’s largest value of stored natural resources. If we were still exploring for the bounty this land has given us, we may still be the richest country in the word. It’s not too late. We need to reject the black-armband view of our history and, by extension, our future. We need to embrace entrepreneurship, to defend the inalienable right of everyday Australians to lift themselves up through hard work and enterprise, and we need to make sure the benefit of that hard work accrues to the Australians doing the work, to everyday Australians, not to foreign corporations. Let me explain.

The wealth each Australian creates every year, called the gross domestic product—per capita and inflation adjusted—increased from $41,000 per person in 1980 to $77,000 per person in 2019. Do we feel almost twice as wealthy as we did 40 years ago, though? No, definitely not. Median or mid-point wages have not increased in this period. The spoils of the hard work of everyday Australians have not gone to everyday Australians. Instead, this wealth has gone to foreign multinational corporations and to the administrative class. Public Service wages are growing at four per cent while private enterprise wages grow at less than one per cent, and that’s just not right. What’s needed in the short term is the removal of all COVID restrictions so the economy can open up and the Australian entrepreneurial spirit can repair the damage of COVID lockdown mismanagement. Then we need to remove green tape so farmers can farm and miners can mine. Instead of unelected, unaccountable foreign bureaucrats dictating to us, we must start making decisions for ourselves. Government does have a role to build the roads, the dams and the railroads. We need to restore our productive capacity to support this growth. Tax and finance reform are necessary to ensure that Australians can access the capital to expand and ensure that the profits from that expansion stay here.

We have one flag. We are one community. We are one people. We are one nation. Abundance is not to be ashamed of. Abundance is a blessing to celebrate.

The figures don’t lie, Australian farmers have saved the economy from a recession. While the government will always try to take credit for a good news story, I made this speech back in September celebrating the true heroes of Australia, the farmers on the ground.

I recently spoke on mining exports keeping the Australian economy out of depression. Today I’m addressing the other good news story: agriculture. In the last 12 months, wheat prices are up 33 per cent, corn up 57 per cent, canola up 72 per cent, sugar up 65 per cent and—the one the Greens hate the most—cotton up 45 per cent. It’s not politicians keeping Australia out of a depression; it’s farmers’ hard work and resilience. Drought and cold from the current solar minimum are reducing crop yields worldwide.

At the same time, the drought in many places in Australia has ended. Prime Minister Morrison and Treasurer Frydenberg are taking credit for a strong economy that’s none of their doing. For years this parliament has been making life as hard as possible for farmers and irrigators. In 2019, One Nation asked this parliament to provide a measly 200 gigalitres of water from the Hume Dam to keep our farmers going through the drought. Labor, the Greens and the Liberals and their sell-out sidekicks the Nationals, teamed up to vote down our motion. As a result, the basin winter crop in 2019 failed.

Here we are in 2021 and the Murray-Darling Basin from Queensland to South Australia is at a high 80 per cent of water storage capacity. Hume and Dartmouth hold 5,700 gigalitres. The water the politicians said wouldn’t be there because of climate change is there. This parliament fails again. For weeks now up to 20 gigalitres a day of water that should have gone to farmers has been sent out to sea at the Murray mouth. With Lake Victoria’s storage full and Menindee filling quickly, flooding in the lower basin is a real possibility—and still farmers along the Murray and Murrumbidgee are receiving only 30 per cent water allocation.

At these crop prices, is this parliament mad? Give farmers their water and let them grow food and fibre to feed and clothe the world. We have one flag. We are one community. We are one nation. It’s time now to allow every Australian to lift themselves up through our own initiative

Scott Morrison and Dominic Perrotett claim to be men of faith, yet seek to further divide our society.

There are fake Christians in politics. They pretend to be of faith but are actually trained to lead sheep to a slaughter, like a judas goat.

The Judas Goat: https://youtu.be/8_MDc77awHQ

Fake Christians are the Judas goats of the 21st century. We have a fake Christian prime minister and in New South Wales, a fake Christian premier. Both are forcing the faithful to break their covenant with God or be destroyed, unable to provide for themselves and their families. Both are not ambassadors of God’s light; both are harbinger’s of hatred.

That the billionaires who own the world would advance these two men as their pawns says more about the billionaires than it does about Prime Minister Morrison and Premier Perrottet, who, we already know, are the elite’s sock puppets. Elite billionaires clearly consider Christianity as nothing more than attendance at church and pious words.

In the case of our prime minister, throw in a little happy-clappy Christian theatre. How little they understand us. The book of Matthew tells us that Jesus did not turn away lepers; Jesus healed lepers. In many such lessons throughout the Bible, Jesus was instructing the faithful, quote,

“Purity laws that categorise and isolate others are not of God. Our inner beings, our hearts must be pure and purity involves integrity of the whole person.”

These teachings support religious objection to COVID injections. If these fake Christians were indeed men of God, they would know this fundamental Christian belief and would defend that belief, not destroy it. There’s nothing Christian in these men’s actions.

Maintaining this facade of Christianity leads the faithful away from God towards segregation, towards persecution, towards the destruction of our families and our communities. That’s the role of a Judas goat.

The faithful will flourish. Those who desert their faith for anti-human corporatism will not. Perhaps this Christmas, Scott Morrison and Dom Perrottet can contemplate Jeremiah 34:8-22. Thank you.

The TGA and the Morrison Government have failed to exercise duty of care towards vaccine approvals. Double Comirnaty vaccination has been approved for children despite evidence clearly showing a seven fold increase in serious harm between the first and second doses.

[Malcolm] Thank you, Mr. President. My question is to the minister representing the Minister for Health, Senator Colbeck. The British Medical Journal has published an article revealing the company that conducted part of the phase three trials of Pfizer’s Comirnaty COVID vaccine. Covering 25,000 people, falsified data, unblinded patients, employed inadequately trained staff, and was slow to follow up on adverse events. Minister, the Morrison-Joyce government failed to conduct an Australian trial of the Pfizer vaccine. And instead, simply took Pfizer’s word for it. Was this a failure in your duty of care to the Australian people?

The minister representing the Minister of Health, Senator Colbeck.

[Richard] Thank you, Mr. President. Senator. I can’t agree with the statement that you make as a question Senator Roberts at all through, through you president. The Australian government took, undertook a comprehensive assessment of each and every vaccine that is being used in this country to ensure Australians had the confidence. That we had a safe and efficacious vaccine for utilisation in the pandemic. And Mr. President, I think the results speak for themselves. If you look at the circumstances in respect of what’s occurred in aged care this year, compared to last year, the impact is profound. Mr. President, it is very clear that we took all steps to ensure that the vaccines that are being used in this country was safe and that they worked. We, we took evidence and advice, yes, from the companies we received the data that they used in their trials, appropriately. But we also had the advantage of being able to use data from other jurisdictions around the world. And we’ve remained in close contact with those agencies that consider vaccines to ensure that they are safe to use. Mr. President. Can I say to all Australians who are still contemplating whether or not they should get a vaccine. Please be assured that our public health system and our authorities, the Therapeutic Goods Administration, recognised as one of the best in the world, has done the, the, the, yes Senator Reynolds, amazing work. To ensure that we have access, Australians have access, anyone living in this country, wants a vaccine has access to a safe and efficacious vaccine

Minister, your time has expired. Senator Roberts, a supplementary question.

Thank you. Prior to the TGA’s approval of Comirnaty vaccine, Steve Anderson, the Director of the US Centre for Biologics Evaluation and Research released data detailing potential Comirnaty adverse outcomes, including Guillain-Barré syndrome, acute myocarditis, auto immune disease, and death. This is exactly what’s happened. In approving Pfizer’s Comirnaty injections, did the TGA fail in it’s duty of care to the Australian people?

Minister.

Thank you, Mr. President. No, it did not. I couldn’t be any firmer than that. And as I indicated in my answer to the primary question, the Therapeutic Goods Administration has considered all data in relation to the vaccine. And in fact, it continues to monitor the data in relation to the vaccines. We’ve, we’ve been extremely open with respect to that. We’ve published reporting on the outcomes of the vaccination programme here in Australia. We’ve published data in relation to adverse reactions, to the vaccines of all types. Mr. President. So I reject any assertion that the TGA has failed in its duty at all. No, it has not. I could not be any firmer, President. We have one of the best and we should be proud of the fact that we have one of the best therapeutic goods assessment, organisations in the world.

Your time has expired. Senator Roberts, a second supplementary question.

Thank you. Latest data from America’s CDC indicates that children aged 12 to 17 are likely to experience mmyocarditis and related conditions at the rate of 9.5 cases per million vaccinations. Yet after the second vaccination, that rate rises sevenfold from 9.5 to 66.7. In approving two doses of Pfizer Comirnaty for our children without testing, are the Minister for Health Greg Hunt and Professor Skerritt at the TGA, risking our children’s lives, health and future.

Minister

There’s a very simple answer to that question, President, it’s no. As I’ve said in my previous answer, the TGA continues to monitor all of the data, not just from Australia, but from around the world, in relation to the impact and the utilisation of the vaccines. Particularly those that we have to be administered here in Australia. We continue to monitor all of the data so that we have the most up-to-date information and that we can continue to assure Australians that the vaccines that they are taking are both safe and efficacious. And all of the data and the advice, continues to demonstrate that Mr. President. Are there contrary indications in relation to the vaccines? Yes, there are. We published the data so that we’re open with that. But we need to make sure that Australians have confidence that the vaccines we have access to a safe and efficacious.

Time has expired.

I have always said I will debate anyone in the country or overseas about the evidence on climate change. The truth is, there is no evidence that CO2 from human production directly causes changes in the climate and needs to be cut.

Forward to this all weekend, all week, the great climate change debate. Gee, I’m nervous. I shouldn’t be, I know. But I’m a little nervous. The first time I’ve ever done something like this, live on this programme. Malcolm Roberts from One Nation and also regular caller, Mark. Mark’s the only one, it seems, with the kahunas to take on Malcolm, particularly on a live radio debate. We put it to some Labour MPs to come on, I won’t shame them at the moment by naming them, and they said, “Nope, nope!” But Mark is up to the challenge. Gentleman, are you both there?

G’day, Marcus.

Hi.

G’day, Mark.

All right, now this is the way this is going to work, gentlemen. You will both have two minutes to start. So Malcolm you’ll go first. You’ll plead your case against climate change using, no doubt, your empirical data, all the rest of it. Then Mark, you will respond. You’ll get two minutes. You’ll be on a clock. And then after that, you’ll get two minutes again each for a rebuttal, okay? That sounds okay to you?

Yep.

Sounds good.

All right, now. A couple of rules, no name calling in the rebuttals. All right. Straightaway that’s a no-no. No name calling,

Okay.

Obviously not that you will, but we just have to be a little clear here. No name calling. And if I think you’re getting a little off topic, I’ll pull you up. Are we ready to go?

Yup, we’re ready.

Yeah.

All right, gentlemen. Thank you, the great climate change debate is underway. Malcolm, you’re going to go first, okay? Because I say so, and I will roll your two minutes from now. Climate change, you say, is not real. Tell me why.

I don’t say climate change is not real, Marcus. I say that carbon dioxide from the use of hydrocarbon fuels does not change climate. That’s the core point. What people have to understand that the core point is that they want to tax and cut our carbon dioxide from human activity, farming, agriculture, driving, transport, industry, power stations. So what has to happen? Always, science is decided by the empirical evidence in logical scientific points. What that means is that you have to have empirical data, hard data, within a logical framework that proves cause and effect. And empirical means measured or observed. Actual solid data. So before we can justify cutting human agriculture, driving, industry, power stations, electricity, raise their prices, we have to have hard evidence that temperatures today have been unusually high and continue to rise unusually.

One minute left.

There is no such evidence. Secondly, the cause of any temperature rise is increasing levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. There is increasing levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Third thing, they have to prove that the carbon dioxide rising in the atmosphere is due to human production of carbon dioxide. There is no evidence to that effect. Number four, even if everything is correct, and someone provides the data that shows that temperatures are rising unusually in continuing to rise, and that it’s due to human carbon dioxide, they then have to prove that warmer temperatures are harmful to humans, harmful to the planet. Scientists classify earth’s past far warmer periods

20 seconds.

far warmer periods as climate optimums, because warmer periods have been booms for human civilization, nature, and individuals. Cold periods kill more people than warmer periods.

10.

So the next thing I point out is that I’ve done extensive work with the Parliamentary Library, with freedom of information bills, with parliamentarians-

Three.

Themselves. No one is able to

Two. provide that evidence. No one.

All right, okay. Okay. So Malcolm stated his points. Mark, are you ready, mate? You’ll get two minutes on the clock.

Just before I start-

Oh god.

on time.

Yes.

Do you recycle Malcolm? Or do you put it all in the same bin?

Hey Mark, we’ll get to that. We’ll get to that.

No, just out of curiosity. We’ll get to that. Your two minutes is up and in your rebuttal, that’s when you can ask questions of each other, okay?

All right.

All right. All right, Mark. Your two minutes starts now.

Righto. Let’s go back 450 million years. The earth was barren. It’s being bombarded by solar radiation. There was fissures and cracks pumping out carbon dioxide and methane gas. I’ve got a Kelpie chewing up my foot while I’m talking to you. The seas were swarming with jellyfish, and fish, and sharks with big bony plates. The first algae, at that time, began to creep up onto the rocks. Come forward another 50 or 60 million years. They’d turned what they call the Gilboa Forest. They were about five metres high. They had a base like a palm tree with multiple roots. They had a straight trunk. They had fronds like a tree fern. There’s fossil evidence of these from Belgium to New York state, a town called Gilboa funnily enough. Then go back to to about 349 million years ago. We started the Carboniferous Forest. These massive forest. These huge rainstorms, probably like we’ve never seen before, that filled up swamps, carved out canyons, rivers flowing up and everywhere it was just to intense-

One minute. One minute.

And then glaciers begin form ’cause there’s so much oxygen in the atmosphere. But the downside of that was every time there’s an electrical storm, because there’s so much oxygen, there’s these massive fires. And that’s what they reckon kept the forest going because forests, obviously, need carbon dioxide. Then by the end of that time, 299 million years ago, the begin to split up.

30 seconds.

And then we got back to now. Now we’ve got, the atmosphere has changed. In 200 years we’ve dug up so much carbon and burnt it, we’ve changed back to what it was 3 million years ago. So what you’re saying is, Malcolm, it took 200 years to go back to what it was 3 million years ago.

10.

And now you’re saying it doesn’t really matter because we’ve changed 3 million years in atmosphere in 200 years. That doesn’t compute.

All right. All right. Well said. All right. I think that’s pretty good from both of you. Great for a start. So the way this now works, you both had your opening arguments. Now it’s time for rebuttal. Another two minutes for any of the points that Mark’s brought up, Malcolm, you get to rebut. Then Mark, you get your chances as well. You ready to go there, Malcolm?

I am, Marcus.

All right. The clock starts now two more minutes, off you go.

I’ll say it again. What determines science is the use of logical scientific points and that’s the beauty of science. It gets rid of all the crap, all of the opinions, all living emotions, and just says, “Show me your data.” And that data, hard empirical data, has to be provided within a logical framework that proves cause and effect. Mark has done none of that. He has not proven the temperatures are higher than in the past. He has not shown that the carbon dioxide that man produces drives temperature. He has not shown that higher temperatures are dangerous to humans. Now, he’s then talked about carbon dioxide levels. In the earth’s past, fairly recent past by earth standards, carbon dioxide levels were 130 times higher than today. Carbon dioxide levels today are closer to the limit of 0.015% in the atmosphere where plants shut down. We need far more carbon dioxide, not less.

One minute. One minute, Malcolm.

Now, I’m the only person in the world from a Congress or a Parliament who has cross-examined the government science agency. I’ve cross-examined CSIRO over a period of five years. They have admitted to me that they have never said that carbon dioxide from human activity is a danger. Never. They have failed to show me, in the last 10,000 years, anything unprecedented in climate. Not just temperatures, anything at all, rainfall, snowfall, etc, nothing at all. They have failed to show me

30 seconds. any statistically significant change in climate. None that all. The chief scientist, after I questioned him, broke down and said to me, he is not a climate scientist, and he doesn’t understand it. Yet, that man was around the country spreading this misrepresentation of carbon dioxide and climate.

10.

No one anywhere has identified any quantified effect of carbon dioxide from human activity and climate. And thus, there is no basis for policy whatsoever.

All right. Well done. Malcolm. That’s your rebuttal. How you feeling Mark, by the way? You feeling okay? What was that?

Bored.

Bored!

I’ve heard it all before.

Oh really? Okay.

So start the clock.

Hang on there. I’ve just got to re set it. Give me two seconds. Here we go. All right, you’re ready, boss? And again, you’ll have two minutes to state your rebuttal and off we go. By the way, gentlemen, I won’t be making a decision on who wins this. My listeners will. Both on air and online. So we’ll put it up a little later for those who aren’t listening live. They can listen back to it, etc. We’ll leave it up for a while. Malcolm, if you wouldn’t mind, perhaps share it as well. And we’ll get some feedback from your followers. Mark, off you go.

Okay. Now what I was getting at there is all those processes took millions and millions of years to happen.

Yeah.

Now what we’re doing now, we’re clearing land the size of the United Kingdom, every year. We’ve got this corrupt fool in Brazil that’s cleared a fifth of the Amazon jungle, which pumps out oxygen and absorbs carbon dioxide. Now in 1857, a scientist named Eunice Newton Foote, a lady scientist, she couldn’t understand why when the carbon dioxide was in… Looking at the earth’s history, everything began to heat up. So she did an experiment. She put a sealed jar of oxygen, a jar of, I think it was hydrogen or helium, I can’t remember what it was, and a jar of carbon dioxide and put them in the sun. And she noticed when she took measurements, the carbon dioxide absorbed, and attracted, and retained the heat, more than the other gases in the atmosphere. They were three sealed jars.

One minute.

And then years gone by. In the late ’70s, the Nixon government, they started making warnings about climate change caused by carbon dioxide. All the insurance companies in the US all got together and said, “We’re going to have to do something about this. It’s going to cost us a heap.” Now, the track were going on now, we’re clearing so much land, and we’re cutting down all the trees, it’s turning into heat sinks. I noticed that Rob Stokes this morning, announced a thing where no more houses with black roofs ’cause the cities are taking the heat sinks.

30.

If you look at new housing develops now, they’re hot because there’s no trees, all got black roofs, and because we’re pumping out so much carbon dioxide now that it’s getting hotter and hotter. Systems are starting to collapse all around the world now. And if you take any notice or if you care, we need nature.

10.

Nature doesn’t need us. We need nature. And the thing is all these right wing gits all around the place say, “Oh, so what, who cares? It’s not our problem.” I heard some fool yesterday on the radio say, “Who cares what happens in 30 years.”

All right. That’s it. Mark, all right. Well done. Well done to both you gentlemen. Any questions between each other, let’s be respectful. You had a question of Malcolm just before, Mark. You can ask it now.

Do you recycle, Malcolm?

Yeah, I recycle.

Well, hello. That’s what the earth’s atmosphere does. We have forests to recycle carbon dioxide and turn it back into oxygen.

That’s right, and-

Yay!

Nature alone produces 32 times, every year, 32 times the amount of carbon dioxide than in the entire human production around the planet. And whats more, Data shows that the-

Hang on.

Human production cannot-

We’re burning so much-

And does not change the-

fossil fuel we’re changing-

Level of carbon dioxide-

The balance.

In the atmosphere.

Okay. I think you spoke over each other. Malcolm, just again.

Again what?

Just repeat what you were saying ’cause Mark, I think, spoke over you. We couldn’t hear you properly.

I believe in recycling and-

Yeah.

Nature itself recycles through the carbon cycle, the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Carbon is essential to all life in this planet. Every cell in Mark’s body contains carbon. Carbon dioxide is essential for life on this planet. It and water vapour are essential for life. All forms of life on this planet. Carbon dioxide is not a pollutant. Carbon dioxide is a trace gas at 0.04% of earth’s atmosphere. It has no physical effect on temperatures at all.

All right, Mark?

Air, and also oxygen, blankets out the heat that’s being bombarded into the planet. We’re just changing the balance so much. These people just don’t get it. I just can’t believe people can be so thick as a society.

Hang on, lets be nice.

We need more carbon dioxide.

Let’s be respectful. It’s not about being thick. We’re talking ideology, we’re talking science, we’re talking-

All right.

It’s an important debate because it’s effectively divided our-

I’ll finish up with this.

Yeah?

I’ll finish up with this. Remember the smoking debate. They used to trot out all these people with white coats and clipboards saying “Oh, it’s not smoking. Two twins, one smoked and the other one didn’t. The one that smoked didn’t die, but the other one that died had cancer, so explain that.” They try and confuse you with figures. That’s what it is. But we’re changing the balance. And as I said before, all these things happened over millions of years, not the rate we’re doing. Not 200 years-

Yeah.

Millions of years.

All right, Malcolm?

Yeah, sure. Marcus, the use of any label like thick indicates that Mark-

Yeah.

Hasn’t got an argument that he can put together to counter the data.

Well, I think he did put an argument together, but.

The second thing, Marcus, is that raising smoking, which has got nothing to do with this. just shows that he hasn’t got an argument. Temperatures today are cooler than the 1880s and 1890s, when they were warmer 140 years ago. The longest temperature trend in the last 160 years was from the 1930s to 1976 when temperatures cooled. Since 1995, for 26 years, that’s more than a quarter of a century, temperatures have been flat yet China, India, America, Brazil, Russia are producing record quantities of carbon dioxide. When you consider nature’s El Nino cycles, there has been no warming trend at all for 26 years. And that conclusion is confirmed in NASA satellite temperature data.

All right, Mark? There is nothing unusual happening.

Mark?

Look at the extreme weather events that we’re getting now. As we talk, did you know last week in Canada, a place called Merit City, they had to evacuate 7,000 people because of the floods. Do you know in India last week they evacuated 200,000 people because the floods? This is what’s happening here. All these extreme weather events, and these people keep living in denial.

So Malcolm, Mark is suggesting climate changes has led into catastrophic floods, and we look here in Australia at the fires. Are you suggesting, Malcolm, that climate change has nothing to do with these severe climb of the severe environmental challenges faced by flood, fire, and?

Mark himself has failed to provide the evidence.

But there is evidence there.

Hang on, Marcus, I’m answering your question. The area of land burned-

Yeah. In the 2019 fires was much, much smaller than in the past. Even in the 1970s and much smaller than a hundred years ago. Much, much smaller. That’s the first point. The second point is that Antarctica has just had the record coldest six month period in its records, ever, ever.

Yeah.

And you can’t just go off… You notice, I don’t raise things like that, because that is weather. And the same with Canada having floods, we’ve always had floods. And if you look at the records from the Bureau of Meteorology, and you hear it on the news every night, oh, this is the heaviest flooding since in the last 50 years, what happened 51 years ago?

All right.

It was greater.

30 seconds each, just to finish. Mark, you first.

The weather events are getting more extreme because the oceans… I’ll just tell you. Okay, we’re in Australia. This is what’s happening. Up in Queensland they’ve cleared so much land the fertilizer’s washing into the water, feeding the Fido plankton. Fido meaning floating, plankton meaning plant life. That’s feeding the crown-of-thorns starfish. They’re munching their way through the barrier reef. Up in the gulf you’ve got hundreds of kilometres of the, what do you call them, mangroves have died off because it’s so hot. You’ve got Leeuwin Current floating in the coast of Western Australia was five degrees warmer-

All right.

than what it usually was. Five degrees!

Malcolm, last 30 seconds please.

Mark has failed to provide any evidence. Look, before we can provide any policy, you need to be able to quantify the impact of carbon dioxide from human activity on climate. No one anywhere in the world has done that. No one anywhere has quantified any effect of carbon dioxide from human activity on climate. And thus, there is no basis for policy. Mark is just clutching at straws. Crown-of-thorn starfish come and go in cycles. And we’ve known that for decades and decades and decades.

All right.

We need to respect nature, not vilify nature.

Gentleman, thank you both. This has been very enlightening. Very interesting. I hope the people listening at home, and those that listen back to the podcast online, enjoy it. Thank you, Mark, and both of you for being a really good sport. I think Mark deserves kudos for taking you on, Malcolm considering others, including federal members of parliament, have refused to do so. So I think kudos to him.

I agree. I agree. Kudos to Mark. But one of the sad things is that Mark has failed to provide the evidence. What we need, Marcus-

All right.

Is to understand-

Yes.

That you need to provide the empirical data, proving the link between the human carbon dioxide and climate variability.

All right, guys.

No one has done that anywhere in the world.

All right, I have to go. We’ve got the news coming up. Thank you, gentlemen, both for your time. That’s the great climate debate.

This week with Marcus Paul I discussed Remembrance Day, the Queensland Government’s announcement the unvaccinated would be locked out of society and the climate debate.

Transcript

Malcolm Roberts, good morning, mate.

Good morning, Marcus, how are you?

Well, thank you. What does Armistice Day, or Remembrance Day, the 11th of the 11th mean for you?

It means we commemorate the fallen, and also the contribution they made to our country and to protect our freedoms.

Absolutely.

It also brings back an awareness and a responsibility that we have to preserve what they gave us, what they fought for, for us. And also, it reminds me, I can still remember, not long after I was sworn into the Senate, driving from the War Memorial in Canberra, and there’s a long avenue, I think it’s Commonwealth Avenue, I can’t remember.

Yes, I think it is, yeah. It’s beautiful there.

Yeah, and looking at–

It’s gorgeous.

Looking at Parliament House on the Capital and thinking, “Gee, I wonder if one day I’ll have to make a decision about sending people overseas in an armed conflict,” and that’s a weight on my shoulders. But then I was stunned to learn, as I took my position in the Senate, that we don’t have any say, and I’m thinking of, we don’t even have a review of a decision like that. And I’m thinking of Alexander Downer, the Foreign Minister, when he retired from politics. He said on TV, he said that he can still remember John Howard coming back from 9/11 in America, marching into the Cabinet and saying, “We’re off to Iraq.” I mean, you don’t make decisions like that. These are serious decisions, and we shouldn’t enter conflict just chasing someone else, following someone else, rather, into conflict, and not having an end game in mind. I mean, this is so disrespectful to the people who have died in the past and who will die in the future. I mean, it’s just irresponsible.

Yeah. All right. By the way, I’ve got somebody who wants to take you on, Malcolm. We’ll get to that at the end of our conversation. I’ll play some of the audio back. His name is Mark and he’s a regular listener. He’s like me, a bit of a lefty. In fact, I think he’s way more left. But anyway, I’ll get to that in a moment. Now let’s go through a couple of issues here. I want to talk about rapid antigen testing, which you’re in support of, but the Queensland government, or up there in your neck of the woods, if you’re unvaccinated, forget it for 2022, effectively Anastasia Palaszczuk’s announcement just the other day, It mirrors similar to what they’re doing in Victoria, not here in New South Wales. The unvaxxed will be welcome in, I dunno, just under a month. But certainly, in Queensland, you always talk about a two-tiered society. It’s pretty obvious that’s where Anastasia Palaszczuk is headed.

That’s right. It’s all about control, Marcus. But there was a very serious development yesterday in Victoria, and this is where Queensland’s headed too. There was a raid on Dr Mark Hobart’s clinic, he’s a GP in Melbourne. And unidentified people just entered his clinic and wandered around. Can you imagine the arrogance of that? They then took files, patient files, which means that they broke the confidentiality, completely smashed the confidentiality between patient and doctor, which is a fundamental relationship that has been held sacrosanct for 3,000 years. So there’s no confidentiality or privacy of your records with a doctor now. People can just wander in. He then had the temerity, Dr Hobart, to ask for identification, and they reluctantly showed him identification. They did all this with no explanation of who they were, no identification–

Well, who was it?

It was somebody to do with an authorised officer from the Department of Health. Now I don’t know whether that’s State or Federal, because I watched Mark Hobart on, Mark is a wonderful person, very direct. He has got a very, very positive reputation amongst his patients in Melbourne. But they took what they wanted, no reason given. And they just marched out of the joint. And he said, “Hang on a minute.” And they said, “We’ll give you a list later.” So they walked out of the doctor’s surgery with confidential, private patient-doctor files. They took whatever they wanted, and they said, “We’ll give you a list later of what we’ve taken.” How does the doctor know that they’ve recorded things properly? How does he know they won’t deliberately leave things out? They also stole his appointment book. Just took it!

But why would they be targeting this man, this doctor?

I don’t know, but he’s been outspoken with his views on how we need to treat this COVID. So you’d have to ask about that.

So now we’re getting somewhere. So has he been on social media, or in the media, talking about what?

No, he’s been, I don’t think he’s had much work on social media at all, but he’s been known to give his views on a certain medication, Ivermectin, which is one of the World Health Organization’s

Well, that could be it.

hundred essential medicines. The developer was given the Nobel Prize in Medicine. I’ve used it. It’s phenomenal stuff. No side-effects. Mild side-effects on a very small proportion of people. Three point seven billion doses in over 60 years. And you know, this is rubbish.

I know that some doctors have come in for criticism for writing a number of what they call fake exemption certificates. He wasn’t providing exemptions for people, was he?

I don’t know. Maybe that’s got something to do, I don’t know, Marcus. But, you know, the thing is that a doctor-patient relationship… If someone goes to the doctor, you go to the doctor, your records are private and you don’t have people wandering in, no authorization, no identification, and just stealing stuff out of a doctor’s surgery. And then saying, “We’ll tell you what we’ve taken after we’ve had a look at it.”

All right.

This is wrong! This is happening in our country!

Well, I’ll follow up on that. I mean, we don’t, as you know, mate, have absconded and done the wrong thing, and putting the rest of the community at risk by not quarantining. You’re doing the right thing. Anyway, I understand the point. I understand the point. And look, it’s not the police’s fault, they’re acting on, obviously, the authority of the government. I don’t know.

I had another very interesting phone-call from a female as well, which turned into a Zoom conference. It was Parliament’s Respect and Safety Workshop on Safety and Respect in the Workplace, something like that, right. You know, because of what’s happened, and politics in this country, and certain parties, there’ve been abuses of people, even allegations of rape, in Parliament House, this kind of stuff.

Yeah, we know.

So I said, “Yeah, okay, I’ll sign up for training.” And I think all MPs are supposed to do it. And so I started the training. Lovely lady on the other end of the Zoom call. And she was just talking about the introduction of this training, and I said, “Look,” and it just came to me, I didn’t have it planned, it just came to me on the spot. I said, “Look, with due respect to you, you’re giving training,” and we’re about to embark on this training, “You’re giving this training on treating people with respect in the workplace, and the federal government is coercing people to get something in their bodies that they don’t want in there.” Marcus, I heard of a survey from a nurse the other day that said 40% of nurses have been injected reluctantly, under coercion, under threat of losing their job. These people are not happy about that. They’re very upset that this is happening, in this country. And I said to this lady, “Here we are, the federal government giving this training, which I think is good, but at the same time they’re injecting people against their will. That is a violation of the body, it’s just a complete violation.”

But it’s the health orders, Malcolm.

Exactly. This is rubbish, Marcus.

All right.

You can’t do that kind of stuff in this country.

Before we run out of time, you say although you have serious concerns about Australia’s Doherty Institute that’s been advising government on the virus, you note that it has recommended rapid antigen testing instead of quarantine for schoolkids. You say that this test-to-stay-at-school-approach to managing outbreaks is good and that it can improve the quality of life and learning for our children, and you would also like it to be part of our back-to-work protocol across the country.

Yes. I’m still open on the rapid antigen testing. I don’t know whether it’s good or bad. I’m not a medical expert. But it looks like an alternative that’ll enable people to not get an injection if they don’t want it, because there are serious consequences of this injection already appearing right across the world. And so it’s another alternative to give governments a way of saying, “Okay, we understand that this is serious, so we can test people.” Taiwan has had by far the most spectacular success in managing this virus, because it’s actually managed the virus, rather than the virus controlling us, which is what’s happening here. And they do testing at the workplace. And it’s a simple test. We did it in Parliament House last time I was down there. When you walk into your job, you get tested temperature, just hold up one of those infrared, or whatever it is, guns to your forehead. And someone else does it, and they say, “Okay, your temperature’s either cool, or it’s normal, away you go.” If you’re warm over here, you get COVID tested. That’s what’s happening in Taiwan. Taiwan has a similar population to us, 24 million, we’ve got 25. They’re crammed in a tiny island that’s half the size of Tasmania, so they’ve got much higher transmission opportunities for the virus to spread. They got the virus into their country from mainland China. They have a huge interaction with people crossing over those two countries. They got the virus earlier than we did. They get it more heavily, in terms of the risk there. And yet in the first 12 months, when we had over 900 deaths, and we had lockdowns, severe lockdowns, Taiwan had no lockdowns and had seven deaths. Not 700. Seven.

Seven, all right.

And, you know, this is what’s going on in this country. We’re just absurd. It’s complete… I was on a show last night on Facebook, and livestreamed from someone in Canberra managing it. Lovely bloke. Three cops on there. I have never been so impressed with these three people. These three people have all either left or are protesting the police force in their state, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland. These men were stunning individuals. Strong, well-spoken, quite clear in what they’re doing. And these people are protesting against what’s going on in the police forces. We’re turning into a police state, Marcus.

Before I let you go, have a listen to this. This is one of my regulars, Mark.

I wonder if you worked out that trees make oxygen and that they absorb carbon dioxide and put it back into the soil. Duh!

Are you telling me that you’ll, on this programme, will debate Malcolm Roberts?

Yep. On air.

On air? Beautiful. All right, Malcolm, Mark wants to take you on this time next week.

Oh, sure. Happy.

Happy to?

Yeah, I’d love to. But, Marcus, tell Mark that there is one decider of science. It’s well-known. And this is what the beauty of science is. It’s brought this to the world. It’s developed freedom. The scientific method has developed freedom.

Yep. Quickly.

He needs to be able to tell me where the specific location, the page number, the document title, the authors’ names, where the evidence is, that carbon dioxide from human activity affects climate and needs to be cut.

Well I don’t think it’s just climate change–

He needs to be able to tell me where it’s quantified.

he wants to talk about. There’ll be other issues. But let’s do it. Let’s lock it in next Thursday.

Love to.

I’ve gotta go, mate, ’cause the news is approaching.

See you, mate. We’ll talk to you again next week for the great debate. Malcolm Roberts v Mark, don’t miss it. QSM Traffic.

Hrvoje Moric:

Geopolitics & Empire is joined by Queensland, Australia, Senator Malcolm Roberts, who is part of Pauline Hanson’s One Nation political party. I’ll be getting his thoughts on the tyranny that is coming at us from all angles in Australia and in the world. Good morning, Senator, and thank you for joining the podcast.

Malcolm Roberts:

Good morning, Hrvoje. It’s a pleasure to be here, and thank you very much for the invitation.

Hrvoje Moric:

I mean this as a great compliment, Senator. I’m a big fan of former Texas Congressman Ron Paul, whose views I think largely aligned with yours. I hope you don’t mind me calling you the Australian Ron Paul.

Malcolm Roberts:

I don’t think I’ve earned enough to deserve that, but I’m delighted that you call me that. Ron Paul is one of the best people in the world. He’s got courage, he’s got integrity, he’s got character, and he stays in touch with the people. He calls out the Federal Reserve Bank in America. He wants to have an audit of them. He fights for peace rather than defence. Wonderful man, wonderful, self-educated in economics, very, very bright man. I’m not even close to him, but thank you. I sincerely feel deeply honoured.

Hrvoje Moric:

I think it’s just easier for some of us who live outside of Australia to get an idea a bit more of Australian politics and the work that you do. There’s a lot going on, Senator, but I suppose we can begin with the public health emergency situation or pandemic in Australia and the world, but especially in Australia where the government is implementing many unbelievable restrictions on freedom. These include vaccine passports, the restriction of the right of movement, locking people in their homes, censorship, elimination of free speech, in some cases, perhaps rendition to quarantine facilities, the destruction of businesses, and so forth. Some of these issues you’ve commented on. How do you view the seemingly never-ending public health emergency that’s been going on now for two years and now these unprecedented permanent public health emergency measures being put into place? What’s going on?

Malcolm Roberts:

Well, how I view them? I view them very simply as immoral and inhuman, that they’re unlawful, unjustified. That’s how I view them. First of all, you mentioned a number of points and I’ll try to capture some of them. You talked about a pandemic. I never use the word pandemic because there is no pandemic of deaths, Hrvoje. None at all. If we look in Australia, then we have normal death rates as compared in past previous years. So then people in Australia might say, “Well, hang on, we’ve had lockdowns, that’s why we’ve not got a pandemic of deaths.” Okay, well, let’s look at other countries in the world. Nowhere is there a pandemic of deaths.

Malcolm Roberts:

For a pandemic, you must have a steep increase in deaths. That’s not happened anywhere. Now you could argue then Sweden, where there was no lockdowns, no quarantining, no real falling in line with the international globalist agenda, they did have an increase in deaths. Yes, they did, because some of the people who are falling victim to COVID have comorbidities. Obesity is one of them, for example, but they have comorbidities. Those deaths were probably brought forward. But now we see Sweden reverting to the mean. So even Sweden, there’s no pandemic of death. As I said, pandemics have to have a pandemic of death; there’s nothing here.

Malcolm Roberts:

The only thing with regard to the death data that’s unusual in Australia is since the injections have been introduced. Now we’re seeing that the number of deaths is above the upper range, and we believe that that is… Well, it’s not explained. So it raises serious questions about the injections, because we know that the number of deaths and that the adverse effects is far, far higher than people are telling us. We know that. We know that anecdotally. We also know that the Therapeutic Goods Administration in this country has supposedly investigated the 564 reported injection deaths that doctors have reported, but they have toned them down to just nine. So we have now asked the question of the Therapeutic Goods Administration in this country, “Show us the process by which you assess that.” That’s the first point I make: no pandemic of deaths.

Malcolm Roberts:

Now, the second point I make is that I’m not dismissing COVID at all. COVID does kill people, there’s no doubt about it. But I’ve asked for the data from our Chief Medical Officer for the federal government, and he has shown me that the data on transmissibility says that the transmissibility is high. You can catch it easily. But the transmissibility on… Sorry, the severity data shows that it’s low to moderate, much less than past severe flus. And so, what we are seeing is not something that’s severe, it can kill people, but we’re seeing that it has not been managed properly in this country. I’ll come back to that in a minute.

Malcolm Roberts:

The third point that I wish to discuss is you raised vaccine passports. I do not agree with the term vaccine passport. I do not agree with the concept. I go totally against the concept of the vaccine passport. But my opposition is more fundamental than that. These are not vaccine passports, they’re vaccine prisons. They’re injection prisons. They’re digital prisons. They keep a group of society away from society. I’ve not been injected, that’s my choice. But I pay my taxes, therefore, I’m entitled to the benefits of being in this society. I’m entitled to being treated as a human who is part of this society and wants the interaction. So digital prisons, vaccine prisons are not human. They’re immoral and inhuman. That’s the third point, I think.

Malcolm Roberts:

And the other point you mentioned was about quarantine. We don’t have quarantine in this country. We have lockdowns. Lockdowns are where you isolate everyone. You withdraw everyone from society, and that’s what we’ve had. It’s cruel, it’s barbaric, it’s inhuman. Quarantines are where you isolate the sick and the vulnerable. Now, I go back to the start of this in this country, Hrvoje. We had parliament basically shut down. And on the Monday, the 23rd of March 2020, we had our first single day session of parliament, where we met to sweep through the government’s bills. Now, what I said to them on that day was, “Look, we’re looking at the tens of thousands of deaths reportedly in overseas countries, like China, Italy, Spain, France, et cetera. So we know there may be something severe, so we have to treat this as serious. So, that’s the first thing. Secondly, we’re not going to stand in your way, we pass the legislation. Third thing, we expect you to get the data, you must get the data. And with that data, you must build a plan. And then we will hold your accountable.”

Malcolm Roberts:

We still have no data given to the public. The data I got from the Chief Medical Officer contradicts what the government is doing. There is no credible plan other than one plan for… It’s not even a plan, it doesn’t have responsibilities, it’s just inject, inject, inject. Everything in this federal government is based on one strategy, injection using something that has not been proven, not been approved. Even the government says it’s provisionally approved. So it’s not been fully tested. And on that basis, we’re destroying our country’s economy with withholding human basic human rights, withholding freedom. This is fundamental to our society.

Malcolm Roberts:

The next thing that I want to mention is that we have destroyed the notion of democracy in this country. We haven’t destroyed it, the government has destroyed it. At state level, we have Liberal, Labour, and National party governments, and at federal level, we have Liberal, National government with a Labour opposition. All of them have ignored the data. All of them have proceeded with just one strategy. In the states, it’s lockdowns. In the federal government, its injections. Now, on the 23rd of March 2020, on that fateful Monday, I pointed to two things. I pointed to the in vitro trials which were promising at Monash University in Melbourne on a drug called ivermectin. I also pointed to Taiwan and South Korea. Taiwan has been by far the best performing when it comes to managing COVID, by far the best, without a doubt. No one hears about them because the UN suppresses news of Taiwan. But Taiwan uses a proper system of testing, tracing, and quarantining. They lock briefly, partially, partially, after about 12 months after the virus arrived, because they had a breach in quarantine that they wanted to get control of quickly. They have demonstrated how lockdown should be used.

Malcolm Roberts:

Even the UN’s crooked, corrupt, incompetent, dishonest World Health Organisation now says that lockdowns are a weapon of last resort and should only be used initially to get control. Our state governments, Hrvoje, are continuing to use lockdowns, which means that after 19 months, they have not got control of this pandemic… This virus rather. It’s not a pandemic, this virus. So what we’re seeing is a complete breakdown in management, it’s mismanagement. We are seeing the people being lied to, we’re seeing the exaggerations in the media. We’re seeing censorship in the media. And censorship is a form of control. And wherever you see control, beneath control, there is fear. This government, our state governments are afraid of the people with the truth.

Malcolm Roberts:

We have also seen now injections of an unproven, not-fully-tested drug that’s been injected into healthy people and is killing healthy people. That’s the first time this has happened in our society, healthy people being injected with something forcibly, coerced into injections, and dying from it. The second thing is we have seen governments deliberately and consciously suppress the use of ivermectin, make it illegal. But ivermectin is a proven, safe, effective, affordable, and readily available treatment that is working in other countries overseas. We are being denied here. That is genocide in this country. So yes, I’m totally opposed to what the government is doing with mismanagement of this virus.

Hrvoje Moric:

Yeah. I would go back to what you said at the beginning about the mortality rate. I read this week from official mainstream sources in Germany that for the year 2020, there was no excess mortality. I did an interview 10 months ago with a Canadian scientist from Quebec who actually investigated the mortality rate, and again, there was no excess mortality. So by definition, we are not in a pandemic, but as we know, the World Health Organisation, they’re fudging, they’re changing all of the definitions of pandemic, they’re changing the definitions of vaccine, and so forth. I just wanted to dig a bit deeper on what you’ve mentioned about the economy and these vaccine passports as they’re called.

Hrvoje Moric:

The biggest fear that most of us have is what they’re calling now this great reset, this total digital transformation of our society’s economies. I’m getting emails every week from all over the world, from Canadians, from Australians, from Americans and British folks, looking to escape from their countries where it seems what you were describing in Australia, that this is happening right now in these countries. And some of us, I’m here in Mexico, we’re afraid that this is going to come to us. And so, could you perhaps tell us a bit more about how bad do you think this is going to get? And this vaccine passport, which is basically a digital ID, which is basically a social credit system, if this gets implemented and it continues, we won’t be able to live, to do anything without the express permission of the government and corporations. I saw a clip of you five months ago, you were interrogating the Australian Department of Health on this, and they were saying they were not working on this, but now we’re seeing these systems being deployed. So how bad do you think this can get?

Malcolm Roberts:

There’s a wonderful poster behind your left shoulder, “Liberty begins with you.” We need to remember that the people who will allow this most ultimately are the people themselves. In a democracy, the governed are governed only with their authority. So the government is given the authority by the governed to govern. That can be withdrawn at any time at an election. So liberty does indeed begin with you. Democracy begins with you, the individual voter. That is something we have forgotten about in this country. It’s not something I’ve forgotten about, but generally across the country, it has been forgotten and ignored.

Malcolm Roberts:

The problem here is governance, national governance, state governance. The overarching problem is the lack of parliamentary accountability, not holding the governments accountable. The parliaments, nowadays in this country, serve the political parties, the tired, old political parties, the major parties. They do not serve the people. The reason for that is because the people have lost sight of the fact that they control the government. They elect the government, they should hold the government accountable.

Malcolm Roberts:

Now, I blame the people for that, but at the same time, I also give the people some excuse for that. Because what’s happened is the political systems have been manipulated by both the tired, old parties, the Liberal, Nationals, and the Labour Party, so there’s only two parties opposing. The other parties have been suppressed. Both those parties alternating in government effectively have the same policies. They pretend they’re different, but they’re not. And so, the bureaucracy runs to the same tune over decades. And what we’re seeing now is a deliberate attempt to control the people. That’s the first thing. But the people ultimately are responsible, and they can rise up against this.

Malcolm Roberts:

Let’s go back to proper management. Our country has about 25 million people. Taiwan has 24 million. So we’re about the same size. Taiwan is a tiny island. It’s half the size of our smallest state in terms of area, which is Tasmania. It is 2% the size of the state I live in, Queensland, which is our second biggest state. So it’s a tiny fraction of the area of Australia. Taiwan also had a bigger risk with the virus coming in because they have exchange with China, mainland China, which is very close, but they have enormous numbers of people going in and out between the two countries.

Malcolm Roberts:

So the virus originated in China, in Wuhan, we know that. So Taiwan was much more susceptible to the virus at an earlier point. They also have a highly densely populated country, which means virus is much more easily transmitted across the country. But Taiwan, the leadership there is trusted, and I’ll come back to something else in a minute, the… What did they call it? I was introduced to it the other day. What are they? The catfish principle. I’ll come back to that in a minute. Taiwan has a much higher risk with the virus.

Malcolm Roberts:

In the first 12 months of the virus in Taiwan, they had seven deaths, seven. That’s it, not 700, seven. They never locked down their economy in the first 12 months at all. They just continued their economy as they went. They used proper testing, tracing, and quarantining. And when I say testing, not necessarily COVID testing. People were tested on their body temperature. And if they were above normal, they were set aside and given a COVID test. And if they were negative on the COVID test, they went to work as normal. So that’s how they managed it, vigorous tracing system. And if people were sick or if they were vulnerable, they were quarantined and protected, but the economy kept going. Now, Taiwan’s economy came down about 0.6 of a percent their GDP. When you consider that their main customers are North America, China, and Europe, their main customers were decimated because they were locked down, but Taiwan’s economy well hardly missed a beat.

Malcolm Roberts:

In Australia, though, we had a much lower risk with the virus, but our lockdowns, at the end of our first 12 months, we had almost 1,000 deaths, and we crippled our economy. We put people in misery. We withdrew human rights. Taiwan didn’t do anything of the sort. That’s the really important figure to understand. Now, I was talking with someone from Taiwan, knowledgeable person with Taiwan. Actually, I’ve talked with a few people. But this one on Saturday told me, in Canberra I met with him, and he told me of the catfish principle. I looked it up on Wikipedia, and the Norwegians actually raised this story first. The Japanese love eels, and Taiwan grows and produces eels. So they used to ship the eels to Japan live, and then not many would survive. And then someone came up the idea of putting a catfish in the container with the eels. That keeps the eels on their toes because catfish eat eels. Many more catfish survived because they were alert, they were active. The same thing happened with fishing in Norway.

Malcolm Roberts:

Now, the point is this, when I looked in the first 12 months at the country’s doing best with managing the virus, properly managing it, Israel, Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore. Now, some of them are no longer at the best level. Israel has succumbed to the injections, they’re having massive outbreaks. Singapore has succumbed to the injections, massive outbreaks. Hong Kong, we know has had more control exerted over it by China. South Korea had a major outbreak due to a lapse in their management, but they got it under control again. Taiwan had a major breakdown in quarantine, but they got it in control again. So Taiwan is the stellar performer. Taiwan did not lock down, they used proper testing, tracing, quarantining.

Malcolm Roberts:

All of those five countries that did well initially are countries with an element of threat. They value their security. Israel, we know why they value their security and why they’re under constant threat. South Korea, similarly. Hong Kong, similarly. Singapore, now it’s not under military threat, but it doesn’t have any natural resources, so it is under threat economically. And Taiwan, the same, both militarily and economically. All of these countries have governments that manage them properly because they know that if they make a mistake, millions of people are at risk. Our countries, Australia, America, Canada, Britain have got fat and sloppy. We are no longer well-managed, and that’s the core. The people in these countries that I mentioned, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Israel, Hong Kong, are on alert for threats. We’re not. We’re fat and sloppy, and that’s the problem. We have got a complacent population that lets the government do whatever it wants, and we have to stop that. I hope that summarises the answer.

Hrvoje Moric:

Yeah. I wanted to shift gears a bit to a different topic that… Well, it seems like it’s a different topic, but it’s really not if we listen to what the establishment and the elites are talking about, and that’s the climate issue, which you’ve been outspoken on. I’ve examined the issue of what once was called global cooling, I think, back in the 1970s, and then became global warming, which then became climate change. I find the thesis without merits. I find it to be nothing more than a ruse by an elite wishing to establish a technocratic control system, which also espouses their long-held philosophy of eugenics. I was shocked last week, we recently had Boris Johnson on television. I don’t recall when the clip was from, but people can find the clip where he jokingly says, “We should feed human beings to animals.”

Hrvoje Moric:

And his father, Stanley Johnson, on television said that a biological weapons mega event would be great because it would eliminate huge chunks of the human population. And so, as I mentioned before, now they’re trying to merge these two issues of pandemic and climate change, and now they’re talking about climate lockdowns. You’ve mentioned this in one of your speeches, they want to get rid of our meat, and they want us to get our protein from insects, which is pretty insane. And so, what are your thoughts on this climate agenda and climate lockdowns and so forth?

Malcolm Roberts:

Again, complete fabrication. And I’ll go into that in more… We might have to extend this to do this. But I didn’t address a couple of your points in your last comment about the virus mismanagement. You talked about the great reset, and you talked about digital identity and digital controls. The government in this country, which is supposedly democracy, but as I’ve said is not a functioning democracy… By the way, the definition of a… well, maybe not definition, but the characteristic of a true democracy is where the government fears the people. If the government misbehaves, the people toss them out. In a totalitarian dictatorship, the people fear the government. In this country, the people fear the government. Not in the sense of a Eastern European country behind the Iron Curtain when it existed, but certainly, the people fear the government here because of the draconian laws that we’ve had brought down on us.

Malcolm Roberts:

The government, we’ve seen legislation that they’re going to introduce next year. It’s called, get this, the Trusted Digital Identity Legislation. Trusted Digital Identity. Why would they call it trusted? Because it is not worthy of trust. What they want to do is control people with it. Now, I haven’t read that bill, but I’ve had an excellent staffer researching that bill, and she has come back with the report that another staffer who assigned her a job has said is horrific. That’s what they’re wanting to do here, they’re wanting to control people. The great reset is about controlling our whole life, controlling our economy, controlling our energy use, controlling our resources and access to resources, controlling water, controlling farming, controlling the food we eat. That is the great reset.

Malcolm Roberts:

We know that there’s a minister in this country who used to be the environment minister, his name is Greg Hunt. He worked in 2000 and 2001 on secondment to the World Economic Forum. He was Strategic Director. He developed some of the strategies that they’re using. He then became a representative in Australia’s parliament. He then became a minister. He became an minister for the environment, which oversaw climate. And this was under the Liberal-National Party government. As a minister for the environment, he was responsible for suppressing a review into the operation of the Bureau of Meteorology, which we know is corrupting the data. They have actually admitted changes in the data, have increased the warming rate. They’ve admitted that to me. What they haven’t acknowledged and what we’re chasing them on, is that that has been systematic.

Malcolm Roberts:

Now you’d think, Hrvoje, that errors in data, we know exist, and with better management and scrutiny, we can adjust the data, but you’d expect all the data errors to be random. Instead, what we see is from 1970, say this is 1970 in the graph, the data has been systematically increased in a linear fashion to exaggerate warming. The data prior to 1970 was decreased, so we have a much greater slope. So, that was fabricated. We see this as a ruse. You’ve mentioned that in 1976, the big call was for catastrophic global freezing due to hydrocarbon fuels, coal, oil, and natural gas. Now we see global warming, but now… Actually, we saw global warming, now we see climate change due to hydrocarbon fuels. These people are just fabricating whatever they want to get control of hydrocarbon fuels. Because whoever controls our energy, controls what we do.

Malcolm Roberts:

Now, it goes back. So it’s a complete fabrication. There is no evidence anywhere in the world. I have held NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies accountable. I’ve held our CSIRO accountable, Commonwealth Scientific Industry and Research Organisation, which provides the government with this data. Now, that minister that I told you about a minute ago, Greg Hunt, who was responsible for the environment and putting in some of these policies that protected these people who are adjusting the data and called upon the government to do something about climate based upon the CSIRO, that same man is now our health minister, putting in place a lot of these pandemic routines.

Malcolm Roberts:

We also see that I held for the last 12 years members of parliament, media, academics, government agencies accountable for their claims about climate. Not one of them has been able to provide me with the empirical scientific evidence proving that carbon dioxide from human activity affects climate. No one anywhere in the world, Hrvoje, has been able to quantify the specific effect of carbon dioxide from humans on climate, not even on temperature. So without that fundamental thing, quantifying the effect, you cannot make a policy. Without that, you cannot set targets. You cannot assess progress towards achieving those targets. You cannot do a cost benefit analysis. No one has got it anywhere.

Malcolm Roberts:

The leader of the government in the Senate, Mathias Cormann… formerly leader, sorry, he left and became head of the OECD, where he’s putting in place a lot of these globalist agenda. I asked him a number of times in the Senate for his empirical evidence proving the carbon dioxide from human activity effects climate, it needs to be cut. Never once did he provide it. He always resorted, ultimately, to saying, “We have to fulfil global responsibilities, our global duty. This is crap, Hrvoje. It is absolute crap. It’s run by a few companies, leaders, the globalists, the elites, to further their own nest to get control.

Malcolm Roberts:

I want to mention Maurice Strong. You’ve probably heard of him.

Hrvoje Moric:

Yeah.

Malcolm Roberts:

A criminal. Left the United States, a Canadian, left the United States where he was wanted for investigation into criminal activities by the American police and resided in China, in exile, voluntary exile. China is the main beneficiary of these policies. And Maurice Strong hid there. Maurice Strong, he died in 2015, was an exceptionally talented man, very, very gifted at networking, at manipulating people. He’s just one of these people who could do it. Now, he created the whole of this global warming scam, but it became climate change scam, back in the 1970s. He manipulated and formed the United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the so-called scientists, that as a political organisation has never produced the science that proves that we need to cut carbon dioxide. And he has manipulated this throughout, and he’s done it by exerting control on the grassroots movements, people like Greenpeace, people like World Wildlife Fund, people like the other conservation organisations in this country that are pushing this crap. They’re just lies.

Malcolm Roberts:

We also have Prince Philip sometimes saying that he would like to come back as a virus and wipe out humans. I mean, what kind of person is this? I have a lot of respect for the Queen, but look at Prince Charles saying much the same kind of thing. Absolute insanity. And then we have the ultimate betrayal. When they can’t produce the evidence, they trot out an awkward 16-year-old who’s not very comfortable socially and put her on the stage and say, “We’ll do whatever Greta Thunberg says.” They parade her as the evidence. That is the complete logical betrayal of science. They’re putting up an awkward, unsociable 16-year-old, who’s now an 18-year-old, and portraying her as the reason we should do this. This is absolute crap. It’s blatant lies, blatant manipulation. I’ll say it again, they’re wanting control of our energy, control of our industry, control of our resources, control of our property, I didn’t mention that last time, but they’re controlling our property rights. They’re wanting control of water. These are fundamental, basic things about human existence. You control these, and you control everything humans do.

Malcolm Roberts:

They’re using what they call United Nation Sustainability, which is by definition reliant upon subsidies, which makes it unsustainable. Remove the subsidies and the account’s not sustainable. But with sustainability, they want to regulate everything we do, how we live, what we do. The second pillar of this United Nation’s control effort is biodiversity. “We’ve got to protect that fungus over there, those critters over there, the plants over there. We’ve got a toss you off your property because you’re less important than the fungus, the bugs, and the critters and the plants.” That’s rubbish.

Malcolm Roberts:

Then the third thing they want to do is to impose a globalist socialist governance, unelected. And that’s what Maurice Strong himself said many times, that that’s his two aims; to de-industrialise Western civilization, and to put in place an unelected, socialist, global governance. You don’t have to rely upon just Maurice Strong’s words because many senior people in the United Nations, the bureaucrats, Christina Figueres, for example, in charge of the United Nation’s Framework Convention on Climate Change, which oversees the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, she herself has said is to bring in a new world economic order. The Lima Declaration in 1975 was passed by a Labour prime minister in this country, the following year was ratified by the Liberal-National’s prime minister. And that is both sides have passed that.

Malcolm Roberts:

That is about transferring wealth, transferring knowledge, transferring manufacturing from our country to places like China. This has been orchestrated, it’s been deliberate. They’ve admitted that with their statements, their own policies. And our dopey government in this country, dishonestly, is incorporating those policies into smashing our country, and the people are falling for it. So more and more people are waking up though, around the world. So to answer your question, will it happen? It depends on the people, liberty begins with you.

Hrvoje Moric:

You mentioned Prince Charles, and I believe it was just this weekend he brazenly gave quite a startling speech where he called for a global military-style operation that would cost trillions of dollars to carry out basically what you described. So they’re openly telling us to our faces, and that’s frightening. You mentioned China as well, which was the last theme I wanted to touch on. We recently had this new security pack between Australia, UK, and the US form AUKUS, or however you want to pronounce it. This is a sign that tensions are escalating between the West and Beijing. And Australia, you guys are stuck between the US and China. I’ve read analysis of the formation of this pact is one step towards war and even nuclear war. They’re talking about nuclear submarines. And then, Australia would become a jumping-off point for an offensive on China. As well as it would become a prime target for China. So what can you tell us about the current East-West tensions as well as Australia’s role in this new cold war with China?

Malcolm Roberts:

Well, you opened up with a comment about Ron Paul. Ron Paul, he’s self-taught. He’s a doctor, but he’s self-taught on economics and very, very capable on economics and finance matters. He’s gone right into the financial system in the United States and globally. He wrote a book called End the FED, and I thoroughly recommend it, people. It’s a book I like. Like me, it’s short, it’s simple, and it’s easy to read, but it’s packed with information, and very well written. He said that since 1913 and the formation of the Federal Reserve Bank, the privately-owned Federal Reserve bank, it neither has reserves, nor is it federal. It’s not a government entity at all, it is privately owned, privately controlled. We know that many more Americans are waking up to that fact.

Malcolm Roberts:

But he said that since 1913 and the formation of the Federal Reserve Bank, every major war, every major recession is directly attributable to the Federal Reserve Bank and its policies. Australia blindly follows the United States into war. When we had 9/11… And I won’t discuss that in any detail because it’s not something that I’ve researched deeply. I do have two questions about 9/11 though. How did Building 7 collapse? It was raised to the ground, and yet it’s never been discussed. No one’s asked that question. And why hasn’t there been a formal investigation into 9/11? George Bush didn’t have a formal investigation. His successor from the opposition didn’t have any formal investigation. We don’t know what happened. So there are two serious questions haven’t been answered.

Malcolm Roberts:

I raise 9/11 because our prime minister, John Howard at the time, was in America when it happened. When he came back, this is not me telling you this, these are the words of Alexander Downer, who was the Minister of Foreign Affairs at the time, the Foreign Secretary, if you like, when he retired a few years later, Hrvoje, he said that John Howard came back from America, marched into cabinet, and said, “We’re off to Iraq.” Just like that. That bypasses the checks and balances that are in place before we commit our men and young men and women to foreign a military action.

Malcolm Roberts:

If you remember the previous Gulf War, we had weapons of mass destruction. We had Colin Powell come out, I believe he was lied to, he came out later and said, “We haven’t got the evidence.” We had the president of America come out and say, “We don’t have the evidence.” We had the prime minister of Australia who told us, John Howard, that we went into that war in the Gulf War because of weapons of mass destruction admit that there were no weapons of mass destruction. We had people all over the military complexes and the governments of many Western countries, including Britain, said, “No, there are no weapons of mass destruction.” But they all relied upon that to start with.

Malcolm Roberts:

The reason I’m saying this, Hrvoje, is I question whether there really is any grounds for war. I question whose narrative we believe. Carbon dioxide, you are exhaling it right now. Everyone watching this is exhaling it. We inhale it in a concentration in the air of 0.04%, around four-one hundreds of 1%. It’s a trace gas because it is scientifically classified a trace gas. We exhale it at 100 times that level, 4%. So by definition of these lunatic running the show, you are a pollutant. You’re a polluter. I’m a polluter. This is complete crap. Carbon dioxide is essential for all life on this planet, but they’re telling us that is now a pollutant. It is not toxic. It is invisible. It is colourless. It is odourless. It’s not radioactive. It doesn’t give off light. It doesn’t give off any noise. It doesn’t pollute us. It doesn’t destroy the soil. It enhances the soil. It’s essential for a life on this planet. But they’re telling us it’s a pollutant.

Malcolm Roberts:

Now they’re telling us that this virus is a pandemic when clearly it’s not. And they’re using things to put in place controls. It’s the same with many of the things we’re being told, they’re blatant lies. They’re meant to coerce us, suppress us, and keep us under control and not question. Well, with people like me and with people like you and with an increasing number around the world, we’re saying, “Hang on, this doesn’t make sense.” It stimulates questions. And what I say to people is we have to remember, who controls the vote? We vote. We control who becomes government. Use your vote wisely. If you’re not happy with the candidates, become one. Stand up, talk to your families, talk to your workmates, talk to your social friends, talk to your relatives, get them to open their eyes, because as you’ve got on the poster behind you, liberty begins with you.

Hrvoje Moric:

I would just add if people can see… Where is it?

Malcolm Roberts:

Your head’s not that big. Now other side, other side.

Hrvoje Moric:

My thought on 9/11 right here. But yeah-

Malcolm Roberts:

It’s been [inaudible 00:38:37] out by reflection, I can’t see it.

Hrvoje Moric:

Okay. So, as you just mentioned, I get this question all the time. I said previously, but are you optimistic? I wonder why are there not more Ron Pauls, more Senator Malcolm Roberts in the world. There’s so few, and it seems like there’s actually a majority of us that agree with you. And many of the other politicians are for, whatever reason, towing the official government line. And so, why are there so few of you and are you optimistic? Are we going to stop this thing?

Malcolm Roberts:

We will stop it. It’s a matter of time, the time scale we talk about. If we look at nature, if we look at the universe, it’s inherently free. That doesn’t mean that you or I, or anyone can predict what will happen in the future, but it’s inherently free, and it’s moving towards increasing freedom. If you look at human society and human history, we’re increasingly going towards freedom. We have backwards steps at times that take us back into control. But ultimately, what emerges is freedom, and usually increased freedom. We’re in a pathway to higher freedom. So despite the setbacks, ultimately, this will all pass. Because we know that from history.

Malcolm Roberts:

President Harry Truman said, “The only thing new in the world is the history you haven’t read.” It’s all happened before, these attempts to control us. Now, in the past Hrvoje, and this is the really tricky point, in the past, if I held a gun to your head, everyone could see that Malcolm Roberts was controlling Hrvoje. Nowadays, we don’t do it that way. The control freaks use intimidation, coercive to shut down free speech. They call you, for example, a climate denier or they say you don’t respect nature, or you don’t respect the environment. You go against caring for the environment. We know of so many scientists who have been suppressed into silence because of that intimidation.

Malcolm Roberts:

We also know they use other things like, for example, they’ll call you a racist and that’ll silence you. They’ll call you a misogynist or a misandrist. They’ll call you a Nazi. They’ll give you labels. I love it when they come at me with labels, because I then turn around and say, “Well, thanks for your label, because it shows that you don’t have the data and the argument to mount a case against my argument. So I win. If you had the data and the argument, you would come at me with the data and the argument. But you don’t. Instead, you come at me with labels, neo-Nazi, racist, xenophobe, misandrist, misogynist, far-right extremist, far-left extremist, call me whatever you want. It just reinforces that you don’t have the data.”

Malcolm Roberts:

So that’s the way they try to control, and they try and suppress discerning voices by calling us climate deniers. Not evidence, climate deniers. What you see then is a very subtle coercion throughout our society that suppresses dissent, suppresses disagreement with the government. We also see the indoctrination of our school children starting from a very early age, starting from five years of age, talking to them about changing their gender. The whole agenda of the United Nations, and make no mistake, they’re the policies that are being implemented in our country often bypassing parliament, going through the bureaucracy, their policies are based upon destroying the two fundamental structures of human society. One is the nation state. That is the best form of structuring in human society on a global basis. Independent sovereign states that are not necessarily united, but they’re united within their borders.

Malcolm Roberts:

But then the second form of basic human organisation is the family structure. It is the most important of all. And they’re deliberately destroying the family structure by destroying the family itself. They’re saying to people, “Same sex marriage.” They’re saying to people, “You can change your gender anytime.” They’re doing so many things to corrupt the minds of our kids. The kids then don’t have an anchor to go to. They destroy the family so that they don’t have the family to go to for support. When people don’t have a family structure, they turn automatically to the government. That makes them dependent on the government.

Malcolm Roberts:

What they’re also doing is telling us that humans are evil, humans are greedy, humans are irresponsible, humans are uncaring. That is completely wrong. It is completely against the truth. We know that we’ve had humans throughout history who have tried to control us. We’ve had humans who have been bullies and brutal, but we know the vast majority of humans are wonderful, caring people. We’re the only species on this planet who when we realise we are destroying an area will actually stop ourselves and change it and protect that area and care for that area. We’re the only species that has got a neocortex and a caring nature from our heart that enables us to be both intelligent and used data and used logic, and at same time apply that in a very caring way. The only species.

Malcolm Roberts:

We are the most advanced species on this planet, and we should be respecting ourselves while at the same time recognising that the human condition causes some people, many of whom are in the United Nations and many of whom are in parliament, to want to control others. That’s a fundamental weakness in the human being, that some people want to control.

Hrvoje Moric:

I would just add on the ad hominem attacks. I don’t think it’s working anymore, these labels of conspiracy theorists, climate denier, and anti-vaxxers today. It’s not working. A lot of people don’t buy it anymore. I’ve been called the same as well. I’ve been mentioned and had pieces in the press. Funny you mentioned that, because just this morning, I received a message from a journalist from a national newspaper to ask permission to use one of my podcast interview stills of an interview I did with a past guest. They’re preparing a hit piece on this person, and I notified them, but that’s because we’re becoming a threat. We’re telling the truth. We’re honestly looking to uncover what the truth is. And so just like yourself, I don’t care what I’m called anymore. Finally, I guess, my last question for you-

Malcolm Roberts:

Can I just interrupt there, please, Hrvoje. Always beneath control there is fear. If someone is wanting to control you, control me, lie about me, smear me, ridicule me, it tells me they’re trying to control people’s opinions of me. They’re afraid of me. Why are they afraid of me? I’m only about 165 centimetres, probably shrinking, I’m tiny, I only weigh… What is it? 65 kilogrammes. 65. Yeah. So there’s not much of me. Why are they trying to do this to me? Why are they trying to do it to you? Because they want to control us. They fear us. They fear the people. They fear the people. They impose censorship, which in another form of control. They impose restrictions, which is another form of control. Because they’re afraid of the people waking up. Again, liberty begins with you, and what they try to do is to suppress, and wherever there is suppression, that is a form of control. It is no less effective than me holding a gun to your head. But, we need to stand up and make people aware of this. So that’s why I want to thank you for what you’re doing, because you’re helping people to wake up.

Hrvoje Moric:

Yeah. I’ve had a gun held to my head, and that wasn’t fun. Is there any other issue you want to mention that’s front and centre on your mind these days, or any final thought to leave us with?

Malcolm Roberts:

I’ll just reinforce what I just said. I used to say the third biggest scam was the climate scam, to give a few control over others. It may be now the fourth biggest scam. The third biggest scam is the exaggerations and the derailment over COVID, and the control that that have been brought in. The second biggest scam is the banking scam, the Federal Reserve Bank, the printing of money, [inaudible 00:47:06] currency to control people. The biggest scam of all is the anti-human scam. The scam perpetrated by the club of Rome, the United Nations, World Wildlife Fund, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, Boris Johnson. Many of these people who use the term build back better, many of these people who want to reset the great reset, many of these people who want unelected socialist, global governance, they’re perpetrating the biggest scam of all, the anti-human scam.

Malcolm Roberts:

We are infecting, polluting, destroying the hearts and minds of future leaders because the governments led by these people are going into primary schools, secondary schools, universities filling them with basically bullshit, and anti-human bullshit, and saying that humans are uncaring, greedy, rapacious, irresponsible, worthless. We are not. I implore people to realise, when you step back and you look at the Hitlers and the Stalins and the Boris Johnsons and the Joe Bidens, and you look at the Scott Morrisons wanting to impose control, stand back and say, “We need to stand up to that.” But also stand back, look through that, and say, “The rest of us, many, many, many billions of us, are wonderful humans and just need the opportunity to be freed.

Malcolm Roberts:

I’ve got eight traits that I won’t go through now, but I’ve got eight traits that are essential for human progress; improving lifestyle, improving longevity of life, improving health, improving safety, improving material comfort, improving material welfare, improving standard of living. The most important is the first, freedom. And it goes back again to what’s over your left shoulder, liberty begins with you.

Hrvoje Moric:

All right, the website is malcolmrobertsqld.com.au. And people can find you on all of the big tech platforms for now. Is there any other website or project we should know about?

Malcolm Roberts:

No, no, that’s it. Yeah, that’s it.

Hrvoje Moric:

All right. Senator, keep up the good fight out there in Australia. We need more of you. Again, thank you for being on Geopolitics & Empire.

Malcolm Roberts:

Thank you very much, it’s been a pleasure. And Hrvoje, thank you for what you’re doing because the legacy media is censored and is controlling. This social media is actually antisocial media. The independent media, the truth media, which is what you are, you are the only salvation for spreading the word now. Thank you very much for what you do.

Well it’s the same old story with Glasgow. Billionaires are going to fly their fuel guzzling private jets to a lavish party to declare you’re not allowed to run your two stroke motor. It’s all a scam designed to transfer your money to their pockets.

Transcript

[Marcus Paul]

One Nation Senator Malcolm Roberts joins us every Thursday. Good day, Malcolm.

[Malcolm Roberts]

Good morning, Marcus, how are you?

[Marcus Paul]

All right, thank you. I think we know who’s behind, perhaps, some of the, I’m gonna word this very carefully. Recoveries, if you like, in the expense of Australia spending time at the COP26. I’ve been sent a whole stack of photos of Santos billboards. I mean, I don’t get it. Why is Santos, a fossil fuel company, being promoted by the Australian government at COP26? It’s outrageous.

[Malcolm Roberts]

I’ve got a deeper question for you.

[Marcus Paul]

No, no, hang on. Can you answer that though? I just–

[Malcolm Roberts]

I don’t know, Marcus. I honestly don’t know.

[Marcus Paul]

Can you ask next time you’re in the–

[Malcolm Roberts]

Yeah.

[Marcus Paul]

Find out for me because I just think it’s ridiculous.

[Malcolm Roberts]

Well, yeah, but what’s even more ridiculous is there’s no resolution at Glasgow, which doesn’t surprise me at all. It’s as I thought it would be because the biggest hydrocarbon users and the biggest producers of carbon dioxide in the world are either not there or telling Joe Biden and Co. to stick it. In fact, Joe Biden’s own country and his own party, the Democrats in America are laughing at him and saying, we are not signing this mate, go away. That’s the state of West Virginia. Entirely democratic state. Powerfully democratic state saying, go to hell Joe. And so we’ve got China not turning up. We’ve got India not turning up, and India saying they won’t do anything until 2070. We’ve got Brazil, Russia, South Korea, the largest producers of carbon dioxide in the world saying, go to hell. Now, well, you got to ask that question, Marcus. I know you’re a lefty, but you gotta ask the question. Why no resolution? I’ll tell you why. There is no data underpinning this. It is a scam. There is no objectivity. If there was data, Joe Biden, Boris Johnson, Scott Morrison would all say, here it is. Go and do something about it. And everyone would say, God, he’s got a good question. Let’s go and do it. Now listen. China is the world’s biggest producer of carbon dioxide. It’s saying, go away. We’re not gonna wreck our economy for this rubbish. There’s no science behind it. France is saying Australia, you must do something. You must save the planet. You must fulfil your responsibility. France is powered by nuclear energy. It is not gonna have anything to lose. This is going to destroy our country because the Paris agreement, there was no agreement. It was a scam and the countries could not resolve anything. And what they agreed on was to go away and come back with your own commitments. We came back with a commitment under Malcolm Turnbull to destroy our economy. China said, go to hell. America pulled out of it under Trump. What we’ve got is a massive scam here. And by the way, have you still not found anyone to debate me?

[Marcus Paul]

Hang on, hang on. Before I get to that–

[Malcolm Roberts]

I’m still waiting.

[Marcus Paul]

I know. You say Glasgow has been a fizzer with no deal. It showcases the hypocrisy, deceit, theft and government’s lack of integrity and accountability on this. You talk again that no one has the evidence and all the rest of it. And maybe that’s true. Maybe that’s true. But again, I come back to my question. What are Santos doing there on billboards?

[Malcolm Roberts]

Well, there are many big question need to be asked about this. You can ask that question about Santos, and I’ll be happy to ask that question. It’s Santos looking after it’s own interests, but what about the people putting up lies about climate and costing the human race to pay for this rubbish? It’s a massive fraud to take money off the people. Look, you’ve got billionaires screaming in on their private jets. We’ve got 25,000 people jetting in from all over the world.

[Marcus Paul]

255 private planes, Malcolm. 250 private jet airlines.

[Malcolm Roberts]

Well, I read the figures were 400 at the damn thing.

[Marcus Paul]

Well, there you go, even more.

[Malcolm Roberts]

Yeah, and so what we’ve got is no scientific evidence. We’ve got huge costs. No impact whatsoever from any agreement that Australia will sign. We’ve got other people laughing at us. We’ve got the major producers of carbon dioxide, China, South Korea, Russia, Brazil, India, doing nothing and the poor yet again, will pay the price for the rich to get richer. We’ve got Malcolm Turnbull. Tim Flannery, who’s the clown climate scientist. We’ve got Tim Flannery, and we’ve got the millionaires like Twiggy Forrest jetting in there because Twiggy Forrest and other billionaires are the ones making money or looking to make money out of this. And we will be paying for it. The average bloke in this country will be paying for it. And the sheer hypocrisy, the sheer hypocrisy of what’s going on, and people are starting to wake up. It is absolutely disgraceful.

[Marcus Paul]

All right, as well as stealing farmers’ property rights, government climate policies, you say have destroyed the electricity sector taking us from the world’s cheapest to the most expensive. It’s gutted manufacturing and added, as you and I have mentioned many times, $1,300 per year to average households’ electricity bills.

[Malcolm Roberts]

Yes, but you know there’s a been a very good development. Last year in 2020 in August, I invited 19 politicians who have been calling for cuts to carbon dioxide from human activity in Australia, prominent politicians, all federal. I asked them for their evidence. Not one provided me with any evidence, not one. Four replied. One of them thought he presented the science. I ripped it to shreds. That was Trent Zimmerman. Ripped it to shreds. He did not come back. Morison, Littleproud. And Karen Andrews replied with nonsense, absolute nonsense. And that is just not acceptable. That justifies the fact that there’s no evidence. Now, but there is some hope. I also invited 10 people to provide me with the evidence, and they came back and they said, there has never been presented any such evidence to them in parliament or to their parties. And I’ll read out the names of these people because they have shown integrity and they are showing courage. Lew O’Brien, National Party. Craig Kelly, then a liberal, now no longer a liberal. Kevin Andrews, a liberal. Senator Eric Abetz, a liberal. George Christensen, a National. Senator Connie Fierravanti-Wells, from your state, New South Wales, a strong liberal. Bob Katter, Katter Australia Party. Senator Pauline Hanson. Senator Gerard Rennick, a liberal. I also got one Labor MP, a Senator actually, who promised to send me the article, send me his response saying that he’s never been given any evidence, but he withdrew at the last minute because I’m guessing he was afraid of the backlash. What we’ve got is we’ve got these senators, these MPs, willing to state in public that they have never, ever been given any evidence from their party nor from the parliament. And I just remind you too, that John Howard, who brought in, disgusting government, brought in these policies that are now gutting our country, stole farmer’s property rights, went around the constitution to do it and he has admitted six years after he got the boot from Bennelong and the prime ministership, he admitted that on the topic of climate science, he is agnostic. In other words, he’s got no science. All of this was started by the John Howard government. And that is what they did not have the science, they’ve admitted it. The father of the Senate, Ian McDonald at the time in 2016, stood up in December, 2016, looked across the chamber at me and said, I don’t always agree with Senator Roberts, but I have to give him the credit for starting the debate on climate science that this parliament has never had. Marcus, there is no evidence for any of this crap. None of what-so-ever.

[Marcus Paul]

Well, why then Malcolm, is nobody seemingly listening to you and those aforementioned politicians that you’ve just summarised for us?

[Malcolm Roberts]

Because parliaments are no longer accountable to the people. Parliaments serve the parties. Parliament serve the party donors. And we have got to get back to the parliament serving the country, holding parliaments accountable. We have a bunch of sheep in parliament. We have gutless, ignorant, insecure, dishonest people representing the country. That’s the bottom line. We have got to change parliament, get the minor parties into parliament, get some independents in the parliament and hold the major parties accountable. We have got to change parliament. People have got to stop voting for the same old donkeys and the labor, liberal, greens, national parties.

[Marcus Paul]

All right. Just before I let you go, we know that diplomacy is important on a global scale for a whole range of reasons. Just taking the climate debate out of it, but you know, the defence. What do you make of the current spat between Australia and France?

[Malcolm Roberts]

Again, Marcus, it’s not based on evidence. It’s not based on solid data. It’s just been a game. Greg Sheridan, who I’ve got to some respect for who writes in the Australian. I know it’s News Corp and you don’t go with the News Corp.

[Marcus Paul]

Malcolm.

[Malcolm Roberts]

So do I, so do I, mate. I agree with you, but Greg Sheridan writes occasionally good articles.

[Marcus Paul]

Don’t be like that. Don’t be like that. When you say I don’t go with News Corp, I just think they’re a little bias, that’s all. I mean–

[Malcolm Roberts]

Well, yeah, they are in some ways. Every paper has it’s bias.

[Marcus Paul]

But we all are. That’s right.

[Malcolm Roberts]

And anyway, Greg Sheridan points out that this submarine issue goes from one government to the next. It’s never based on sound data. It’s just an emotional ploy to get people in to think that we’re doing the right thing for security. And the government, and he said he bets that they will never ever build a submarine in this country. He bets that there’ll never be a proper submarine fleet that we can call our own. He bets that that’ll just be passed from one government to the next. And the reason that happens is that there’s no data driving decisions. Decisions in parliament are opinion-based, ideologically based rather than databased. We are not in parliament in this country under labor, liberal, nationals and greens. People are making decisions based on ideology, emotions, grabbing headlines, getting votes rather than what the people need. We have got to change parliament.

[Marcus Paul]

Thank you, Malcolm. Appreciate it.

[Malcolm Roberts]

Thanks mate.

[Marcus Paul]

Have a good day, there he is. One Nations, Senator Malcolm, Robert.
