I raised with Creative Australia the “rumoured” $800,000 grant to Sara M. Saleh. While the CEO, Mr. Collette, could not confirm this specific figure, he did clarify that artist Khaled Sabsabi, whose political views have been a point of contention, has received over $800,000 from the agency over the last 20 years, including his current representation of Australia at the Venice Biennale.
I questioned why a commercial entity like APRA, with record revenues of $740 million, requires $4.3 million in taxpayer-funded grants. This raises the question: should public money subsidise the talent development of a profitable private firm? We must ask if these funds are supporting growth or simply replacing private capital.
I also sought clarity on the accounting for Aboriginal arts programs. It was confirmed that approximately $32.1 million is dedicated to First Nations creative practice out of a total grant pool of $285 million.
Several questions have been put on notice. I will wait for the exact figures on overseas spending, recent grants to Mr. Sabsabi, and the specific KPIs from their annual report to ensure that "investment" isn't just a buzzword for unchecked spending.
My focus remains on ensuring that government funding serves the Australian public effectively and stays clear of political extremism.

Always asking the Nitty Gritty!
How do you not have a laptop in front of you that you can pull up that information immediately
Im fairness, this guy was as transparent as they come.... which is also scary
The fact they don’t work woth laptops or have them is a big question in my book. Access to your own company Records Your senate inquiry looks more like a show rather then a panel And why doesnt anyone have someone like an assistant looking for those answers. Pretty sure they are all paid enough to have the answers I’ll take that on notice ….
Very well worth asking those 1uestions
Meanwhile we have got homeless
I would think that housing homeless families, hospitals and infrastructure here in Australia would be a far better use of those funds
Thank you 🙏 Senator Malcolm Roberts ! Keep up the God work!
Grants and contracts, paid for with taxpayer money; not theirs.
More great questions. Well done research, Senator Roberts.
I wonder how much the government will give me playing the spoons
Here we go ,on notice again !
Fob it off. Take it on notice. Hope it gets forgotten. Come back at a lata date…. Just to fob it off again. Never answer the questions. 🙄😡
When these people are given the questions they’ll be asked well ahead of the hearing why must anything be taken “on notice “, they’ve already been given notice 🤬🤬🤬
They always take on notice ,none of them answers questions
Could it be in return for political donations? What's the legality of donations to blind trusts?
Waist of money

Keep going on our behalf Senator Malcolm Roberts
I'm a budding artist. What support am I eligible for and how do I get it? I have one helluva story! Do I have to kick some back to albo?
So we work hard so the government can just throw money away .... yeah nice.
Should hear me on the harmonica...give it a rip for $20,000 here in Thailand..
The depth of the utter bs is never ending. Keep up the good work Senator Roberts.
Keep them honest.
Why can they not fund themselves?
Another day, another RBA rate rise.
Labor keep spending and Australians keep paying.
Almost $1 trillion wasted - and it's just getting worse.
A One Nation government will bring the treasury back until control. We will shrink the government to fit our means, stop the reckless spending and put Australians First.

Milton Friedman famously asserted that "inflation is always and everywhere is a monetary phenomenon, "Meaning it is caused solely by the government printing money faster than economic output grows”. He argued that inflation is "made in Washington" through excessive government spending, not by producers or trade unions. The public DO NOT CAUSE INFLATION. INFLATION IS CAUSED BY GOVERNMENT SPENDING AND PRINTING!!!
Who for, which country?
The Bible does not state that the state is the guarantor of education. This is a modern political and social concept that is fundamentally at odds with the biblical narrative. According to Scripture, the primary and God-given responsibility for a child's education rests solely with the parents. This is not a shared or delegated authority; it is a direct mandate from God. Direct Command to Parents: Passages like Deuteronomy 6:6-7 and Ephesians 6:4 are explicit commands to parents, instructing them to diligently teach their children about God's laws and to raise them in His discipline and instruction. The text places the duty on the father and mother, not on a civil institution. Children as a Trust from God: The Bible teaches that children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3). God entrusts them to parents, who are then accountable to Him for their upbringing. This makes parental authority a stewardship, not a right granted by the state. The State's Defined Role: The biblical role of civil government, as outlined in Romans 13:1-4, is to maintain order, punish evil, and protect citizens. Its authority is in the realm of justice and law enforcement, not in the spiritual and moral formation of children, which is the core of true education. Therefore, the idea of the state as the "guarantor" of education represents a reversal of the biblical order. It shifts the ultimate responsibility and accountability from the parent, who answers to God, to the state, which operates outside of this divine family structure. This is seen by many as a usurpation of the authority that God specifically reserved for parents.. This was usurped to create compliant slaves easy to control and manipulative that wouldn't rebel when taxed into oblivion!
Tell us what has one nation achieved And actual bills and policies passed in parliament yet
Another 2 or 3 before he gets the arse.
thats a lot of rate rises. which has never hppened
Who are you going to put in charge of the till? Barnaby? 😂 You lot inflate all your figures already. 🤭
I hope none of the LABOR voters are complaining
and thank all you labor voters
Trumped
You know its funny because from what I am seeing your policies would actually cost australia more then labor and therefore you would spend more, causing higher inflation and more intrest rate hikes
it'll be Ok, the loan rate will be up at 18% again soon same as it was When I brought my first house in 92, wish I still had it, worth a million now.
Weak men create hard times
Let’s not forget that rates on the way up again prior to labor winning the 2022 election . While the hikes occurred during Labor's term, the RBA is an independent body. Most economists attribute these raises to global inflationary pressures (like fuel costs and supply chain issues) rather than government policy alone, One Nation and the Opposition argue that government spending has fueled the fire. Which is all they can do .

The Albanese government is using the UN refugee program to import radical Islam while ignoring persecuted Christians and Syrian Alawites.
With extremists promising to "enter every home," Australians have every right to be afraid of where these policies are taking our country.

Crickets I guess every time senator Roberts says something..
Australian refugee policy prioritizes security via rigorous character and background checks conducted by intelligence agencies. Rather than "importing" extremism, the program focuses on humanitarian need, resettlement, and social cohesion. Conflating faith with radicalism ignores the strict vetting processes that protect national security while fulfilling international human rights obligations.
Spot on ! And we don’t have to and we should not be forced to if we do not abide. We have a right as a human to say NO ! NO we will not tolerate that in Australia . Thank you senator for speaking up
Parliaments own Garden Gnome fertilising us all from is garden of compost
This man is one of the reasons why One Nation will NEVER be a mainstream party.
The United States has played a significant role in pushing for the closure of Syrian camps (such as Al-Roj) where these families have been held, aiming to have Western countries repatriate their citizens. Reports indicate the US intervened to secure the departure of a group in April 2026 during a brief ceasefire window. The women being returned are Australian citizens.
So, 45 thousand kiwis migrate to Australia every year , where is that taking Australia? Dah
Spot on Senator Malcolm Roberts.
One Nation or no Nation!🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
On November 11, 1975, Australian Governor-General Sir John Kerr dismissed Prime Minister Gough Whitlam, marking the only time a federal government has been removed this way. Following a budget supply crisis, where the Opposition blocked funding, and Whitlam’s refusal to call an election, Kerr used Section 64 of the Constitution to terminate the government.
Wake up Australia!
man talksa through his ring silly idea
Got that right. Buying votes for labor
Well spoken Malcolm vote one nation 👏 👍
Well said Malcolm u are speaking the truth i back u 💯%
And all the time bullshitting the Australian public.
I agree completely, this is to cause trouble.
Thank you senator for speaking up. Once they grow in numbers thats when they show no assimilation. Just look at what they are doing in the UK, Germany etc...4 wives and child marriages.
Every word is true.
This man needs a bigger role Makes common sense
Bring in some Christians from Syria and South Africa
Doesn't the UN refugee convention state that they are to go to the nearest country of refuge? Pretty sure travelling half way around the world goes against the UN convention. Doesn't that break some sort of intentional law?
Maybe we, as a people, need to step in and do something because the government isn't.
This man needs to be our Prime Minister, please.
Exactly what’s happening thank you.
