Yup let's not talk about the colonial extraction, access to global trade networks, free enterprise which suited the US, expansion and industrialized of slavery and forced labor in some periods, resources from conquered territories, knowledge inherited from earlier civilizations and the US led Globalist companies and economy. As an aside, the son of engineer John A Roebling who designed the Brooklyn bridge managed its construction died during its construction, his wife finished off the engineering. She was self taught in all the higher level mathematics and cable construction.
