If people don’t buy smart appliances the government can’t control them. Is the convenience of being able to look at your fridge from your phone so great as to give up control of your home to a hostile entity?
Geeeee whizzzz its a scam.
My electrician said he installed a new fridge in a new property the day before which needed a code via wifi to start the darn thing.
It was never a conspiracy theory – at least to the informed engineer types.
Smart Meters are not “smart” – they are remotely adjusted ‘valves’ to be manipulated whenever necessary to stop the grid from collapsing – and that due to the UN inspired demon that we will all die in some way if we don’t cut down on the production of a single trace gas that has magical properties beyond physics. And to do that means providing electrical power by inserting fickle, variable and unreliable into an electrical distribution grid and think that by doing so the planet will be saved.
Oh and the added benefit is profit – profit because humans who read meters don’t need to be employed.
AND THIS IS GOOD FOR US!

They did the rounds here Albany WA, I told them if they came on my property they would be trespassing. They took no notice and came anyway, (Lucky I was home!) they then respected my decision to not install a “Smart meter”. Am free of it for now.

My only complaint is that I dislike immensely the dramatic background music that accompanies the reports. I would much prefer if it were left out. Sincere thanks for your reports all the same.

From the day I was forced to change to a smart meter 18 months ago, I have been far from happy with my bills. I have solar, and my feed in amount has dived, and usage shows as increased. I’m a solo pensioner and there have been no sudden changes to my household. I got the company who installed my solar system years ago, to come and check. $285 later told nothing wrong with solar system. When I first changed over my first bill was weeks late. They told me straight out there was a problem with my system, and they were trying to sort it out. No-one could tell me what the problem was, I just had to take their word. I keep a detailed spread sheet of my bills, and usage shows an increase of around 25-30% since smart meter installed. You just have to take their word for it.
Though having just watched the story about the British Post Office scandal, I am becoming less and less inclined to believe their excuses.
This is me as well.My bill is up 50%, my solar is down 50%. I have never had a bill and all of a sudden I’m getting large bills. The new smart meter was installed about 12 months ago.
I have complained to AGL and was inform to check my solar. Paid the $300 to have them checked and cleaned. Report all good. I have a written report
Complained to AGL, they came and checked my SMART meter and all is good. Still waiting for the report.
Change my account to another provider. Changed the time of running pool to night time.
Now I have to take a reading every day and read the Smart meter and the Solar.
So far I have worked out on the meter read
1. time
2. date
3 TOTAL imported to house including off peak
4. TOTAL exported to the grid
15 KW peak power bill without off peak
16 For the life of me this I cannot work out. think it may be off peak rate.
21 off peak power (ie) hot water.
I have just done the excel sheet for the week. Add 15 and 21 together should equal to 3 .
4 exported to grid..rate 21 is my off peak hot water.I only had a flat rate account with AGL and should no have anything peak off peak rates.
So why do I have a meter 16 adding numbers,for the life of me I cannot work out what 16 is for but I have a reading of that meter moving.
I smell a rat somewhere.
I watched on Youtube how to read the meter. But 16 has me stumped.
What if the government used smart meters to turn up the appliances to make them use more energy to put your power bills up.
Can the smart meters only access appliances that have internet connections?

apparently, according to my Smart Meter data on last bill my hot water was “turning on” after midnight for no reason. lets see if this happens when i turned the switches off over xmas
If we had know that saying no was an option we would not have had it installed. Is it possible to have the Smart meter removed?

I CUT A HOLE IN THE DOOR OF MY METER BOX, PUT IN A PERSPEX WINDOW SO THAT THE METER CAN BE READ WITHOUT OPENING THE METER BOX..AND LOCKED IT CLOSED WITH A PADLOCK. YOU OWN THE METER BOX ..MARK IT..NO SMART METER. ALWAYS REMEMBER..”THE ONLY TRUE WILDERNESS..IS BETWEEN A “greenie’s ears”.

Without your honesty , the majority of Australians wouldn’t have any idea what is actually going in this country. With good politicians such as yourself the truth is finally being spoken . Hopefully the people will soon wake up and realise that they are constantly being lyed to and world is not what it seems to be . It certainly isn’t all rainbows and skitties .
