Just wrapped up another two days of public hearings in Canberra on the Greens-Labor inquiry into “Information Integrity on Climate Change and Energy”.

This is my session with Dr Karl. What do you think of his behaviour?

He asked me whether I thought the past 10 years have been the hottest on record globally I replied directly “No, I don’t”. He responded with mockery and ridicule, then shifted the topic to what he claimed is a “99.999% consensus.”

By the way, consensus is a political tool. Instead, science is decided using data. I replied with actual data.

Later Dr Karl admitted science is “never settled” – when it suited his Newton/Einstein analogies. Yet he refused to acknowledge the actual historical climate records from our own 1880s.

It seems that he’s more interested in “elitist” condescension than hard facts. Notice how he has many tricks for avoiding answering questions or changing the topic.

Real integrity requires debate, not evasiveness and dismissiveness.

Dr Karl is a know-it-all who knows a lot about a little and a little about a lot. Like all adherents to the climate religion he relies on evasiveness and a mantra (“consensus”) instead of addressing the real issues. For someone who calls himself a scientist, he seems to have completely abandoned the scientific method.

Can Dr Karl answer why the medieval warm period was hotter than now if man is supposed to have caused the present warm period. This is FACT, not computer modelling or supposition.
If scientific consensus is such an important measure of scientific truth, how does he explain that all reputable scientists in Galileo’s day believed the universe revolved around the earth and that Galileo was therefore wrong. Why was scientific consensus wrong in Galileo’s day but right now?

Being right, which Dr Karl considers himself to be, and being smug are two very different positions. Smug rarely produces agreement or devotees. He is in the ilk of Christ Bowen, sad hands to be steering a debate which (so far) is destroying our economy, manufacturing base, and standard of living.

It’s about time Albo and his communist party stopped listening to communist China and Bill Gates and stopped giving millions of our tax payer dollars to communist countries and started listening to the Australian people (who are paying his wages )and look after them first making sure we can all afford to buy groceries etc and have somewhere safe to live.

I have always respected Dr Karl for his wisdom but found him to be a bit of a smart arse in his interview with senator Roberts.
His attempts to undermine and belittle senator Roberts backfired as senator Roberts done his homework prior to this interview.
Keep asking those tough questions senator Roberts as true Aussies need your help.

    Hi Malcolm,

I wouldn’t worry about interview because it’s very hard to prove it. The climate and temperatures are changing but Earth expierenced that before. The governments run statistics and they can manipulate it, they can manipulate weather, so how can we trust them??!!
My point is C02 levels are lowest in millions years of Earth history and plants need C02. No C02 , no food for us.
They blaming us for climate “change” ? but who is running big corporations? they are biggest pollutants. It’s all about money not environment , so everthing is only propaganda.
I believe , we can do many things better and waste less too , but that is why education is so important too.
