Pfizer/BioNTech ran the trials and submitted data; the FDA reviewed the clinical, safety, manufacturing and quality data. The original EUA review included a Phase 2/3 safety population of about 37,586 people and an all-enrolled trial population of 43,448. The “1,230 deaths” claim is misleading. That number comes from Pfizer’s post-authorisation adverse event reports up to 28 Feb 2021, after mass rollout had started. Pfizer’s own report says adverse event reports do not prove causation; they are signal-detection data, not “Pfizer’s trial killed 1,230 people.” In the actual pre-authorisation Pfizer trial, the FDA reported 6 deaths total: 2 vaccine, 4 placebo, and said they were events expected in the general population at similar rates. For Australia: the TGA says it made a provisional approval after its own review of Pfizer’s submission, with rolling data and collaboration with overseas regulators. It also required ongoing safety reporting and batch assessment before supply. The TGA AusPAR says approval was based on preliminary clinical data and required further confirmatory safety/efficacy data. mRNA vaccine technology had been researched for decades before COVID, including work on flu, Zika, rabies, CMV and cancer immunotherapy. But the specific Pfizer COVID vaccine still needed its own COVID-specific trials, which it had. So the fair version is: regulators relied heavily on manufacturer-submitted trial data, as is normal, and approvals were expedited/provisional because of the emergency. But “no testing” and “Pfizer tests killed 1,230 people” are not accurate.

The post marketing safety data that was released by Pfizer due to a USA Supreme Court ruling stated 1223 deaths from 1st Dec 2020 - 28th Feb 2021. This was documented as the rollout began in Australia. It also showed a multitude of severe adverse reactions. The Australian people should NEVER have been mandated!!!! Where there is risk there should ALWAYS be choice. Those who mandated these jabs were exempt themselves.
