MALCOLM ROBERTS
Senator for Queensland with One Nation
With a long history of seeking the truth, Malcolm believes Parliament needs to return to the facts to get back on track. Malcolm’s areas of focus include:
Building dams and water infrastructure such as the Hybrid-Bradfield Scheme and exposing mismanagement of the Murray Darling Basin.
Reducing electricity prices, increasing the supply of reliable energy and ending the government obsession with renewables.
Ending the control of unelected bureaucrats over Australia’s way of life, exiting the United Nations and restoring our sovereignty.
Opposing full foreign ownership of Australian land and forcing multinational companies to pay their fair share of tax.
Want to know what Malcolm thinks about something? See if you can find it by searching here
“The decades of Government inaction on issues in the, ‘too hard’ basket is killing our country. We’re not afraid to listen and take up the things affecting Australians everyday.”

With a strong background in engineering, mining and business leadership, Malcolm brings a real world perspective to Parliament that the ranks of major party lawyers and former union bosses miss.
He has led the operational development of Australia’s largest and most complex underground coal project, setting many new industry firsts.
After being disqualified along with 14 others from sitting in Parliament in the 2017-18 eligibility crisis, Malcolm campaigned for election again in 2019 where he was successful with a huge increase in vote.

Pauline Hanson's One Nation is a right-wing populist party in Australia characterized by economic nationalism, social conservatism, and opposition to mass immigration. The party’s current platform, led by Pauline Hanson and MP Barnaby Joyce, focuses on protecting Australian sovereignty, reducing government waste, and addressing cost-of-living pressures through immediate relief measures. Immigration and Border Security One Nation advocates for drastically reducing migration to ease pressure on housing and infrastructure. Key proposals include: Capping visas at 130,000 per year across all categories, including foreign students. Deporting illegal migrants and visa holders who break the law. Refusing entry to migrants from nations deemed to foster "extremist ideologies" incompatible with Australian values. Withdrawing from the UN Refugee Convention. Energy and Climate The party rejects climate change action and net-zero targets, labeling them as "economic suicide." Their energy policy prioritizes: Abolishing net-zero legislated targets and withdrawing from the Paris Agreement. Expanding coal and gas production, including building new coal-fired plants and establishing a national domestic gas reserve. Developing nuclear energy as a reliable baseload power source. Banning offshore wind and renewables on agricultural land. Housing and Economy One Nation links housing affordability to immigration and foreign ownership, proposing: A five-year pause on GST for building materials to lower construction costs. A ban on foreign ownership of residential property and agricultural land. Allowing Australians to use superannuation to purchase homes. A $90 billion budget savings plan to eliminate government waste, reform the NDIS, and cut unnecessary departments. Social and Legal Issues The party emphasizes traditional values and individual rights: Free Speech: Enshrining free speech protections in the Constitution and introducing citizen-initiated referenda. Crime: Implementing "truth in sentencing," mandatory imprisonment for violent crime, and stricter penalties for drug traffickers. Health: Rolling back abortion laws to restrict access, particularly in later stages of pregnancy, and increasing funding for regional health services. Gun Laws: Supporting responsible gun ownership for work, farming, and sports, while opposing further stringent regulations.
Actually less government policy is the best type of policy. Simple policy is how the government was meant to Work.
Yes they keep saying they have no policies only because they’re scared and if it looks like they’re going to get in I’m pretty sure Pauline will gather some very good people around her to help her. People with the same values as the rest of Australia
They have policies. But the lack of detail is the problem. An example is the recent faux pas by Barnaby Joyce with Andrew Bolt. The policy hadn’t be fleshed out other than the slogan. If they’re serious, they need to get them costed and provide significant detail. Their education policy is particularly vague and shows limited understanding of how the education system operates.
One Nation has policies. It is just that they don't know what they are or how they going to work. The wheels are starting to fall off as expected.
Funny looking Aussie flag.
So if One Nation can put forward thrir policies, why can't the other parties put their policies out???
It's not a belief, it's a fact, not one costed well thought out cohesive policy at all
Written in crayon???
They have a great web site and their policies are very clearly written. I oppose Pauline as a PM possibility and generally see the canditates and representatives as incompetent, but the web site is great.
All of the ON Policy are on the Website. Actually good reading 👍
I’ve got an idea, you should put it forward in parliament sometime when you actually decide to show up there. Politicians to get paid in accordance with how often they actually show up to work. What do you think? I mean I don’t wanna name names here because it might upset some people in your audience but some politicians only show up 50% of the time. If we gave them only 50% of the pay they might actually start showing up, if they still don’t then at least we could save millions of our wasted tax dollars. What do you think? If I only showed up to my work 50% of the time I’d get fired so I feel like politicians are still getting off lightly with this proposed policy. Would be keen to your thoughts since you’re always harping on about how people don’t wanna work anymore, I’m sure this would have your unequivocal support?
No policies that anyone understands.
Policy for Aussies who bought 50 homes?
One Nation all the way
Policies are not just Pauline’s talking points. They are accepted by the party, understood by members, independently costed and have consequences considered. When did your party room vote on any of the ideas you refer to as “policy”?
All paid for by billionaires
Well, it seems they cant even agree on the details of the housing policy for "non-australians" so they have a fair point.
Are they costed?
So Roberts lives on an imaginary spinning water ball 🤣🤣🤣
Keep up the good work One Nation 🤩
What are the policies for women? I can't find rhem
We urgently need a policy on Castle law, a policy on National Parks/land councils etc ... It's a priority in the Territory
Go Pauline!
The where are they? What are they? Where are the costings?
Right now, the only people winning are the criminals.
Help us restore sanity!
What do you want to see happen with tobacco and vapes?

I’m double happy to be buying my cheap smokes! 😁
How about the government stop making choices for people If they want to smoke it’s a personal choice is it not Taxing it like they have turns every one who already smoke to a new market The government is never happy now it’s upset because it’s not getting our tax money on top of the tax we get taxed from our wages they tax you how many times GST was suppose to even the playing field but it’s done. nothing but tax us twice I say drop GST And return to how it was
We’re grown adults and we’re being taxed to the hilt with tobacco and banned from vapes. It’s no wonder these criminals have jumped on the bandwagon and started selling them illegally and unless the government get control of their own greed, nothing will change.
Another very real fact to add here is the quality of the illegal cigarettes is top notch, supermarket smokes are sickening. So the government has lost control completely. The illicit trade has no competitor only itself.
Its our rights to choose to smoke ..it also stops illness..thats fact .. technically they can not say to anyone to stop smoking ..i smoke since i wad 19 years old ..and on other side of coin poeple smoking bevouse streess of living with all crupted things they ste doing
The only reason why they want to get rid of so called illegal cigarettes is because they see they amount of tax they are losing, it's never had anything to do with peoples health but rather greed.
What about alcohol. I be you drink
Because they need something to help with stress, because they see no bloody future And l a not a smoker
The government is upset that their cash cows have relocated to another paddock, but refuse to admit that their highly excessive taxing of tobacco has caused this migration to greener pastures 🤷♀️ They refuse to admit their role in creating a boom in illicit tobacco sales - admitting their own mistakes and trying to remedy anything is obviously beyond them 🤦♀️
To legally grow your own
Cigarette taxed at a lower rate to reduce the black market advantage and vapes legally sold again especially non-disposable vapes. Harsh penalties for supplying to minors, really harsh.
Organic tobacco is better than the expensive cigarettes
A lot of people smoke more because they are stressed more with cost of living the way it is
I wholeheartedly disagree with the other guy. If I buy 100 dollars of black market, its literally a savings of 460 odd dollars per fortnight to go to other more important bills and my children, that's also going to last 6 weeks that tobacco, so i save an extra 1000 per month and im not being extorted by politicians who just use the money to account for their own corruption. I MAY be wrong but our laws on excise I believe only account for home production of tobacco not imports.
Imagine a world where you could grow your own tobacco… oh wait then the government wouldn’t be able to collect their excise! Oh yeah the exact same reason to shutdown any illicit trade. 💰💰💰
Bring back freedom of choice and the knowledge that the choices we make come with consequences, good and bad.
Will keep buying the so called illegal until tax is lowered simple, dont vape so know that's a problem with younger people, but my choice to smoke at what is fair, the tax excise is criminal
Makes me laugh, they claim the extortionary tax is to stop people smoking, at the same time complain about the lost revenue & yet, if the tax did stop smoking, what do they think would happen to that revenue?? They can claim it's about encouraging people to quit for their health, but ultimately it's just an excuse to rob people & because most people aren't aware that nicotine is actually beneficial, they use that as an excuse to behave like criminals. Typically criminals don't like competition, so like any criminal organization, they use the threat of repercussions to try & obtain a monopoly in the tobacco market, I say, competition drives better customer outcomes.

Now we just need un taxed alcohol 😂💪
The health concern angle doesn't cut it anymore. My body, my choice. The problem is economical. The revenue has actually dropped, even with the rise in taxes, because organised crime has taken that slice away. This alone is a good reason to react NOW & lower the taxes, become competitive with the criminals, instead of encouraging them.
Not to mention what it's doing to our tourist industry. If i were a smoker, there's no way I'd holiday in Australia, considering the price I'd have to pay for a packet of cigarettes. You can't even bring in a carton , you're only allowed one unopened packet and one opened packet. After arriving and then find out how much they cost , they'd probably be on the first plane outa here.
Don't Smoke
History repeats itself. Look at Prohibition in America. Ban/tax something people want and it creates an illegal trade and crime gangs to go with it. How much is each State and Territory paying for the crime gangs and enforce this. It is ridiculous. The Health Minister Mark Butler is pushing a ridiculous agenda for the taxes and forcing people to certain actions. State Premiers are perfectly right in the criticisms of Mr Butler and the Federal Labor government. More people need to call out this stupidity and make changes
Malcolm I know you like the odd joint 🤣
One Nation's gas policy ensures Australians will finally get a fair share of our own world-class oil and gas resources. We will secure domestic supplies for vital industries, pay down our $1 trillion national debt and put more money back in your pocket.
One Nation will:
✔ Keep more Australian gas in Australia.
✔ Lower household energy costs.
✔ Support local manufacturing.
✔ Secure reliable energy for the future.

How’s Gina going to take that? They’re her resources to do what ever she wants apparently! You’re going to be in the dog house Malcolm. 😆😆
This policy is excellent I hope it’s rolled out across the resources sector from top to bottom End income taxes with royalties from resources
It’s our earth to
So the first tick looks like vaguely a policy. The other three are just assertions. Mind telling us how you will achieve them?
Power prices are already coming down, thanks to the flood of renewables entering the market. Can somebody at ON HQ read Malcolm the relevant facts?
Can we see the costings of this pie in the sky policy?
How?
Pauline was destined to lead and with maturity and focus will govern our nation for the foreseeable future to benefit the workers whilst keeping the wealth within in the country. When the going gets tough the tough gets going, Aussies helping Aussies in a time of need. It’s either ONE NATION or NO NATION 🔥🍻🇦🇺 POLLY FOR PM Our little Aussie battler, Brisbane born and bred, a stifled education with a bumpy road ahead. Worked her family fish shop, serving with a smile, admin was then authorised, more suited to her style. Elected as a councillor, Ipswich LGA, political intervention, still serving us today. A tough initiation, her passion to debate, slid into possession of ONE NATION to create. Eleven weeks in prison, conviction on appeal, overturned her sentence, release was on reveal. Acted on her detriment which doubled her desire, came back with a vengeance her crimson hair on fire. Outrageous explanations, voters not impressed, ONE NATION’S in the picture now, supporters to invest. A multitude of thousands expanding everyday, surging through the latest polls, conjecture into play. Cost of goods prohibitive, futures to address, living standards on the slide, our country’s in a mess. Question time’s provocative but still they overspend, it’s time for intervention and to call it to an end. Leaderships are tumbling with pressures on the mount, by-elections to address, ONE NATION’S in the count. Commonsense is paramount to turn the ship around, proponents to be scrutinised before we run aground. An Aussie destination with meaningful attainments, immigration overload, we’ve maxed out our containments. Infrastructure shortfalls, we’re running out of hope, resolutions to provide with providence to scope. A thirty year apprenticeship and worn it with a grin, Pauline has been there and back enduring thick and thin. Timings of the essence, the job is hers to take, vote ONE NATION at the polls for all our country’s sake. Glen Hughes ©
We need One Nation they are the only ones who will stand up for Australia and our people
Thank you Senator Malcolm Roberts. Our resources and our intellectual property should have always been owned by Australians. 🧡🧡🧡🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺ONE NATION, IS OUR NATION 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🧡🧡🧡
This is the leadership that Australia needs!
Well let's see what you can do One Nation You have a lot of hard work ahead of you All the best1🙏
The truth Australia
Go do it Pauline!
Constitution states this.
High risk / high cost strategy. Any gas exploration and development will have a budget bigger than NDIS. And then you have to work with partners who have the expertise. Equity ain’t cheap.
How about we make your mates in Mining ⛏️ pay 💰 tax

Yeah giving that ownership to Gina
Australia’s Highway One is the longest national highway on Earth, spanning approximately 14,500 km (9,000 miles) to form a continuous loop around the continent. Established in 1955, the route links all mainland state capitals and hundreds of regional communities, serving as a vital economic lifeline
