Some actual facts , over the last ten years in qld there have been just over 1000 late term ( over 22 weeks ) in the last 10 years , this is only ever done in severe medical cases where abnormalities occour that could be harmful to the mother , 2 doctors must be in agreement and oversight and regulations are in place to ensure it conforms to the regulations

Because this isn't happening??? A feticide would have happened first if the abortion were to be done at the gestational age of viability. Anything under 22 weeks, it is futile to try to save them. It just cant be done and will cause more suffering. There are detailed instructions on the requirement to provide comfort care to any fetus born with signs of life following an abortion, and it is against legislation to not provide this care.
