MALCOLM ROBERTS
Senator for Queensland with One Nation
With a long history of seeking the truth, Malcolm believes Parliament needs to return to the facts to get back on track. Malcolm’s areas of focus include:
Building dams and water infrastructure such as the Hybrid-Bradfield Scheme and exposing mismanagement of the Murray Darling Basin.
Reducing electricity prices, increasing the supply of reliable energy and ending the government obsession with renewables.
Ending the control of unelected bureaucrats over Australia’s way of life, exiting the United Nations and restoring our sovereignty.
Opposing full foreign ownership of Australian land and forcing multinational companies to pay their fair share of tax.

“The decades of Government inaction on issues in the, ‘too hard’ basket is killing our country. We’re not afraid to listen and take up the things affecting Australians everyday.”

With a strong background in engineering, mining and business leadership, Malcolm brings a real world perspective to Parliament that the ranks of major party lawyers and former union bosses miss.
He has led the operational development of Australia’s largest and most complex underground coal project, setting many new industry firsts.
After being disqualified along with 14 others from sitting in Parliament in the 2017-18 eligibility crisis, Malcolm campaigned for election again in 2019 where he was successful with a huge increase in vote.

In this session, I question the Aged Care Safety & Quality Commissioner on why some Commonwealth-funded aged-care facilities are banning family visitors without a legal or public health mandate. Many constituents are raising this issue, and I wanted to find out what was the lawful basis for these "operational discretions."
I was pleased to get a direct admission from Ms. Metz that there is no legal basis under the Aged Care Act for a provider to unilaterally ban a visitor. In fact, the Act explicitly protects the resident's right to have visitors.
The ACQSC confirmed that they view an unjustified visitor ban as a serious breach of residents' rights.
I questioned why funding continues to flow to these providers while they are under investigation for unlawful bans. Ms. Hefren-Webb clarified that while they don't control the "funding lever" (which sits with the Department), they do have the authority to pursue civil penalties and compliance notices.
It was concerning to hear from Mr. Day that the Department hasn't issued explicit guidance to providers telling them they can't use visitor bans as a lazy substitute for proper staff discipline or complaints management.
The Commission could not provide immediate data on visitor ban complaints or subsequent enforcement actions, and took these questions on notice.
We must ensure that our elderly are not isolated from their loved ones just because a provider finds a family member "difficult."

These are the first people I've heard actually make an effort to answer
What a dribblefest.😡
Wow... one step further than taking their call buzzers away that still happens with "difficult" persons when understaffed. 😕 Do the ppl in charge here have their own plan should they need to be looked after when older? If so... why... and ,why isn't the public system up to their standards?
Is it so that family do not see what is going on? Staffing, food, cleanliness, etc. From my experience it’s the family that can’t be bothered coming in to see their relative.
It’s aged care not jail..you can’t ban visitors..WTAF!🤬
No spika da iglis
Time for the team to expand! It's time to stop asking and start implementing!
How can I get a job , and just not listen, and just take everything on notice?
I definitely don't feel comfortable at all with those responses 😕
We were stop from visiting our neighbour in a Hostel care centre the other day.
How the hell did that thing get the job!?!?
I worked in aged care for 18 years, it was rarely done to stop a family or a member seeing there relative. It was usually done if the resisdrnet was being abused by a family member, and not necessarily physical abuse but financial, it was not done on a whim there was a process that was followed. I can only speak on my experiences in aged care
Oh shit is this all we have,it's like watching a hale and pace sketch.
Thank you for your work Senator Malcolm Roberts. .
Still nothing about the Woods royal commission findings?
Prisons allow family visitors. These homes allow itinerant staff. It is overreach by the homes.
That's so funny because I feel if they tried that even with politicians lies about the mandates it won't end well for them.
Ooohhh Law?? Whatever do you mean?? The ummm ummm umm let me get the one with the forked tongue to answer.
there can never be any justification for banning visitors to elderly people. They are residents, not prisoners. If they want to see somebody, they had bloody well better let them in. Unless there has been some incident of violence or threats against staff, such actions are an outrage. Even if they wont allow a visitor IN, they have no right to prevent the resident going outside to see their visitor. This looks farrrrrrrr too much like attempts to hide abuse and neglect of residents, a fairly common cause of conflict between family and staff. There needs to be immediate investigation if any person is banned from entering any aged care facility, since every day that goes by is further opportunity for bedsores and jam sandwich dinners.
U fat fuck tell the truth and stop the arm ar arm ar
Bumbling fools
Despite decades of warnings, Australia has been exposed to an incredibly dangerous situation.
We have 20-ish days of fuel security, much of it hosted offshore, and all of it draining away as war escalates in the Middle East.
As for a backup plan? That doesn’t exist.
'In a time of conflict, this government is running a ‘she’ll be right’ attitude.
‘There is no need to panic-buy petrol…’ insisted our reckless, over-spending Treasurer, Jim Chalmers.
Chalmers was simultaneously trying to blame the war in Iran for his dodgy budget accounting while pretending there’s ‘nothing to see here’ with the fuel situation.
Prime Minister Albanese’s Energy Minister, who has forgotten about carbon emissions, backed Chalmers’ comments, insisting that panic buying would ‘just make the situation worse’.

With Labor, it's always someone else's fault.
Perhaps you should stop demonising EVs then?
Well I may be peddling to work soon
Time to drill baby drill. Especially in the outback in South Australia. Apparently that deposit is full of oil.
Australia needs to refine our own fuel again
I’m panic buying ! I already got 5000 litres of diesel saved in me shed . I’m literally filling up another 5000 litres of petrol while typing this lol and I’m buying all the toilet paper
And who ended up having our fuel supply in USA? Angus Taylor might have something to do with this.
Like you know Angus Taylor had a plan about storing our fuel offshore
Reminds me of a joke: A cooker and a shill walk into a bar...
Thanks to the few trucking companies who have heavy electric haulage. I have an electric car and a cargo van, both all electric, charge for free off the solar on the house roof. Already got people asking to car pool! Dare I say it, “you were warned”.
Chinese has been stockpiling fuel from 2025
Its about time we started our own Diesel and Petrol refining here in Australia again. This Federal Governments idea of the just in time approach = just inviting trouble.
Convert vehicles to run on LPG?
Running on empty lol thats a good movie
Suddenly Malcolm is awakened!
With the cars and trucks off the roads, hopefully councils have some stored so they can fix the bloody potholes.
Pauline’s been on the gravy train for 30 years . All aboard…
Aaaah the negative leprechaun. What’s your solution.
We need ideas and fast. Someone call Canada and get that oil here pronto.
The dangerous situation is pig face and beetroot but then as an Indian you would know the best combo for a curry?
I bet they have petrol in their cars ,paid for by the tax payers of this country
EV cars, ethanol and 15 minute cities? I know there are a few individuals who are Australian from past employment in Australian petroleum working in Texas and Louisiana. They were previously employed in Australian crude oil petroleum and refined oil production and are now employed in USA. The workforce relocated from Australia when the refineries closed in Australia. The knowledge and skills went overseas. Two refineries remain in Australia to provide fuel for military needs.
That is 1.8 billion litres, not 1.8 million.
'Running on empty' in the minds of Albokini, The Snake Chalmers and Blackout Bowen.
Where do you stand on renewable energy now Senator Roberts 😀
One Nation senators warned the government about this last Monday after Israel &,USA attacked Iran 2 days earlier
In answer to my questions on Monday, Labor minister Ayers misled the people
Tuesday I exposed his deception.
And the Greens & Labor combined to stop Pauline’s motion for an inquiry into fuel stocks
Wednesday, Senator Bell held the government accountable
Thursday, Pauline & I continued holding the government accountable
Friday, in my Livestream I covered the details.
And provided comprehensive solutions detailing Pauline’s statements for decades.
And my statements & actions and One Nation policy for decade since 2016
The government does not care about energy security, energy price volatility and truth.
As always, the people will pay for the Liberal-Labor Uniparty’s deception
Both cheeks of the Uniparty continue working against Australia’s national interest
Only One Nation opposes UN Net Zero, UN Paris Agreement, UN Kyoto Protocol
Only One Nation has the proven, honest, practical solutions for restoring petrol, diesel & aviation fuel security
Energy security, affordability & truth are vital

Look at it with a tin foil hat on and it all make perfect sense.
How will they run the diesel generators to charge those EV's
Yet another reason to electrify our vehicle fleet as rapidly as possible.
Did someone say cockroaches?
Australia should be self sufficient and produce there own fuel etc.Hopefully One Nation can get this sorted.
Senator Malcolm Roberts We need refineries in every city + oil exploration & retention for fuel security
Ah the next lockdowns will be fuel related. The time to grew our own food was last season. Good luck everyone let’s help each other out and show them what humanity is about.
Well should be a safe storage for our own oil we sell overseas
If only we had listened to Malcolm … wait, what?
I believe we have excellent oil reserves in the bass straight and elsewhere that we don't tap into, would one nation consider drilling and creating our own supply, even becoming an exporter instead of an importer. If my understanding is correct?
If only we had other options for decades like being energy independent and electrifying our industries.
You can make your own diesel out of used cooking oil
I have been saying this for days. Everyone keeps saying it is not Albanese's fault. But it is. We have the resources to dig oil and keep it for ourselves until the crisis is over. That is a must. If we want we can extract and export more oil and get out of debt. But oil use for Australians should have at least started. 1.5% of people have electric cars.
Its all part of their plan..
Tanya said Battery operated trucks will deliver cattle, milk fruit and vegetable we don’t need petrol vehicles She told Barnaby.
Isn't the straight still open for anyone not Israel or USA bound?
What? But I thought lithium batteries are Gona save us?
You’d think the farmers and transport companies would be priory not the other way round. I really hope everyone gets behind one nation because this is beyond a joke now
So what is your proven, honest, practical solution for restoring petrol, diesel & aviation fuel security Malcolm?
I thought you liked the orange man.
Im not convinced given that it’s in the Courier Mail and repeated by Malcolm Roberts
Have you seen any comment from our Prime Minister?
Gees - it's almost like electrifying transport with our ample solar resources is a good idea.
When you say held to account, do you mean you cried about it every day, and they brought you tissues
Privately owned diesel vehicles not for business use won't be allowed soon. You'll be allocated your share based off business necessity and income.
