I asked Minister Gallagher a simple question about the true cost of Snowy Hydro 2.0. Unsurprisingly, I got a response, just not an answer.
Economic analysts like Robert Gottliebsen projects that this project could cost taxpayers over $1 trillion by the time it’s finished. While One Nation believes this figure is far too high, the lack of proper planning, financial analysis, cost control and transparency makes an accurate analysis impossible.
How much will electricity have to cost for taxpayers to get their money back? They don't know. They are making this up as they go along!
One Nation will:
❌ Close down Snowy 2.0 before it sends the country broke.
❌ Remediate the environmental damage.
❌ Build clean, reliable coal-fired power to slash the cost of living.
A One Nation government will stop this madness, balance the budget and put Australians first.

I agree.. here here hhere
Did you ask how much the chemtrails cost ?
Would you like a bbq 🍗 How do you like your red peppers? Red hot ?? 😂😂😂😂
Good!
Sadly Malcom you only pray and peoples fear of change and emotions topics. You want peopole to stay obediate sheep, be good little workers and obey what you preash being the truth and all it is are whims and wishs, that your puperters what you to do, create division. How much would all this cost, how much?, Malcolm? You’d waste all the money already spent building it just to create kettles fueled by resources from the dinosaur age. Burning coal isn’t clean; it still releases heavy chemicals into the atmosphere that have been slowly poisoning the population through water and food. These chemicals float in the air, settle on everything, and when it rains, they’re washed into the river systems farmers use to water their crops. This contaminates the soil where our food grows. Plants then absorb these nutrients and metals, producing fruit we later eat. Not to mention the herbicides and pesticides sprayed on food to deter pests, along with petrochemicals from oil used to make fertilizers for faster growth and larger yields. I could list the heavy metals and their effects, but sadly most people wouldn’t have a clue or simply wouldn’t care. Some can trigger autism in children and are known to cause brain damage, birth defects, and mental illness. And let’s not forget that houses built over 40 years ago often had lead pipes—scientifically proven to cause brain damage and birth defects. But sure, let’s believe Malcolm Roberts, who of course has nothing to do with the coal industry. HAs your health and best interest at heart. Here’s a question, Malcolm: what does One Nation propose to do when the oil finally runs out? It can’t last forever—it will run out. Maybe not in months, but perhaps in 6–10 years. By the time a new oil refinery is built, it might already be obsolete. The world is moving toward electric vehicles, yet you and your cohorts want to keep this country under control, despite us being an island with only 15 million workers. Remember, the closest country to us has 254 million people and speaks a different language. The EV push is led by China, which has patiently endured criticism and ridicule while building what they need to succeed. People demand low prices but also want high wages—what makes you so much better than the worker pulling 10-hour shifts to make the TV you watch or the keyboard you type on? Would you take that job? One Nation voters need to take a good, hard look in the mirror and consider the low-paid workers who make their comfortable lifestyles possible. As you sit at your keyboard spilling verbal diarrhea, Malcolm, would you go clean out a blocked toilet?
Yeah right. Who voted with the LNP to make it happen in the first place, ya hypocritical lump of black death!!
Martin Niemöller wrote his famous "first they came" lines about how the Nazis rose by isolating one group at a time while everyone else stayed silent — never enough of a target on its own to make the rest of the country flinch. Here's One Nation's version of that insidious pattern: When she said Australia was being "swamped by Asians," I did not speak up because I'm not Asian. When she called Aboriginal parents "lazy" and "negligent," and repeated the debunked claim that $30 billion is being funneled into Aboriginal handouts, I did not speak up because I'm not Aboriginal. When she said domestic violence victims lie in family court, called it a "two-way street," and claimed it wastes police time better spent on "real crime," I did not speak up because I am not a victim of DV. When she dismissed the gender pay gap, I did not speak up because I am not a woman. When she wore a burqa into the Senate to mock Muslim Australians, and said "how can you tell me there are good Muslims," I did not speak up because I'm not Muslim. When she blamed African gangs for crime that police data showed they barely contributed to, I did not speak up because I'm not African. When she told gay Australians they should leave the country if they wanted to marry; I did not speak up because I'm not gay. When she called the trans community a "militant force" and an "insurgency," comparing it directly to militant Islam, I did not speak up because I'm not trans. When she pushed to strip disability standards out of new homes, I did not speak up because I'm not disabled. When she called workers "lazy," I did not speak up because I am not lazy. When she voted against Same Job Same Pay, the Right to Disconnect, criminalising wage theft and industrial manslaughter, then took a $100,000 pay rise herself, I did not speak up because it wasn't my paycheck she was coming for. When she opposed the bill to stop supermarkets and big companies price-gouging Australians during a cost-of-living crisis, I did not speak up because I told myself I could still afford my groceries. When she voted against the Paris Climate Agreement, against investment in renewable energy, and against building community resilience to climate disasters, I did not speak up because the floods and fires hadn't reached my house yet. So when she finally comes for you — whatever's left of "you" once every group you didn't belong to has already been picked off — who's going to be left to speak for you? Let’s be poor and vote Labor 🤣 One nation or no nation. It’s not a joke it’s a reality.
You idiot...it will cost far more to shut it down and remediate!
So dump the project, and just say stuff it we have a sink cost. Than spend more money to undo what snowy did Than spend more money on coal plants Wow, that does sound stupid
Beautiful clean coal....I've heard that before from another fucking moron in that place....grow up little man....get edumacated
Because Ne Neron knows all about costings. 😂😂😂 Midget Cooker strokes again. 🤡
Well that’s just dumb. That’s why you won’t get a chance to do dumb stuff.
They only civil servants are to themselves and not to the taxpayers that pay that unearned salaries.
Here’s my nephew Some of you may know him as James, King James but his real name is Satoshi Nakamoto We are shutting you clowns down Nice try

Oh just fuck off you Indian moron The LNP started this, where were you then ya deadshit?
This is a direct threat you ass clown
I asked Finance Minister Katy Gallagher’s about a critical issue affecting every working Australian: falling productivity.
The official numbers from the Australian Bureau of Statistics don't lie. Under this Labor government, productivity (GDP per hours worked) has dropped from 100 to 96.9%.
At the same time, Labor brought in 301,000 net overseas arrivals in just one year.
This is what the data tells us:
➡️ Migration only boosts productivity if migrants are more highly skilled than the existing workforce.
➡️ Less than 20% of their 301,000 migrants are classified as skilled arrivals.
➡️ Australia now has a record 2.59 million short-term visa holders (excluding tourists) in the country, which international data proves drags productivity growth down even further.
I asked the Minister a simple, direct question: Has Treasury modelled the damage this massive influx of low-skilled and short-term visa holders is doing to our GDP per capita productivity?
Instead of giving a straight answer, Minister Gallagher dodged, talked about Net Zero, and gave excuses.
Adding millions of people without the skill levels or infrastructure to support them isn't a productivity strategy. It’s a recipe for lower living standards for everyday Australians.
One Nation has policies that put Australian workers and our national interest first.

Surprised she didn’t take it on notice! Never answered the question though either. 😩
How is it that the Minister for Finance does not seem in tune with the Treasurer?
Why does every Australian care about the productivity metric?
🤮
Vote One Nation Party
She doesn’t answer the question 🤦♀️
Just more ignorant bullshit
Watch this lying piece. Lies
The leader is worse than Trump if that is possible
POLITICAL CORRUPTION The MAGA Murdochs desperately did not want you to know that they are running their political puppets social media sites and their political agenda That is a cast iron fact. It is political corruption at the highest level. It is tantamount to treason. Their political puppets have sold out your interests to a foreign media organisation.
I have just spent a lot of time in remote Australia, most people working there are international visitors on short term visa's and travelling. These are the people most remote tourism operations rely on, but ONP still sees them as unskilled visa holders whom should be deported . Maybe Malcolm should try living in the real world. Outback tourism would be decimated without these "immigrants"
The workers are probably just bummed out because of those payrises you voted against
While not a Malcolm fan, I'll back and favour him over Gallagher any day. She is thick, useless and incompetent.
Benny Pongs face 👊
I swear they answer questions deliberately on Psychological level to make people so Furious at the way that the answer s*** That they just have to turn it off and ignore it otherwise they'll explode from the idiocracy of the statements, Dumber than Schoolyard sandpit squabble nobody knows the actual facts and there's just trying to lie their way out of getting in trouble it is absolutely ridiculous
Have you ever got off your ass from your sweet inner west Brisbane abode and had a look in regional Australia? If it wasn’t for those short term visa holders every regional pub, bakery, restaurant, service station, grocery store, caravan park etc etc would be finished. Wanker
You give her natural resources away for f*** all and you keep flooding the country with people that have got no way to work
These Labor politicians don’t know what they are doing and they all talk out of their ass.
She loves migration, hopefully she will open her door for them???
301000 Indians
During this session, I raised critical questions with the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator regarding the life-and-death matter of rising heavy vehicle road fatalities, noting recent increases in New South Wales and Queensland.
I questioned Ms Rosie about anecdotal insights regarding the source of these high-risk drivers.
Speaking objectively as a migrant myself, I passed on widespread reports I've received from Western Australian and Queensland truckies suggesting a high number of Indian immigrants are obtaining licenses too easily or operating without them.
While Ms Rosie maintained that their compliance and reporting systems are strictly risk-based and agnostic to ethnicity, I wanted these serious, on-the-ground concerns from our truck drivers formally put on the record.

A truckers dash cam does not lie 😉
Thank you for asking those questions. A majority of the Indian drivers that I’ve dealt with on the road are a workplace hazard. It’s a very serious issue that needs prompt attention from the government.
Excellent questions hear truck drivers talking about this problem all the time
Lotta meth in the trucking business. Not necessarily Raj on it.
To the point one driver was going around doing the job interviewing, getting signed off with the driver trainer and then a completely different driver was jumping in the seat to do the actual job while the original driver moved on and continued that process for others.
Constant harassment of drivers for minor infringements is one of the biggest factors. The stress the drivers are under wondering when the next time they are pulled in, usually costing them a big fine for small clerical stuff, which has absolutely nothing to do with their driving ability. Any wonder there is so much anxiety and stress in the industry. Many many good drivers are leaving the industry due to this.
Senator Malcolm Roberts Its not just one group…..it is all people, however there is a concentration in one area…. That is new companies, hiring questionably competent drivers and operating rough looking equipment…. Many of us are convinced that new Drivers to Australia should be checked under Licencing and Visa issues. We have anecdotal evidence that what looks like a Student visa situation is actually an orchestrated human trafficking operation…… if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck?. I understand the National Road Freighters Association Inc. conducted a Q&A in New South Wales recently with some interesting results……. off the record and an unofficial comment I would suggest there is a vertically integrated conduit of truck drivers from poor countries to job opportunities in Australia, with immigration lawyers, register training organisations and business owners in the middle of that integration…… Commonly SHAM contracting is part of the process….
Running auto cab overs and still can't drive.
One thing that the WA Worksafe department do is provide Fatigue Management training for free in order to operate in WA. Under the NHVR it is outsourced to private skill course providers for a fee.
Keep on keeping them honest Malcom
Spend some time driving adel to melb..... Esp serviceton to ararat between 7pm and 11pm......
Ive only been driving semis a short time, more regularly and honest what i see on the road by some car drivers is down right dangerous. We have to be on high alert all the time because of there lack of experience and patience and it is mind boggling what happens in front of truck that we're expected to stop at or for, but some indian drivers take the cake when it cames to trucks and heavyy equipment. It sucks that they are been allowed to get a licence without been tested on our roads in our language. Its incomprehensible that our government is allowing it. One big thing that gets up my nose is the logbook and all the riles that come with it. No book can or ever will be able to tell you when your tired. Only ones body can do that.
National heavy road department 🤡 We don't know what happens in Western Australia 🤬🤬🤬
I think all people who want to work here as drivers should be forced to sit an Australian drivers test as international licence is ok for temporary visitors but not work visas
Make laws to stop trucks being on freeways at peak hour times....so many truck drivers don't understand the vehicle they are driving and do not adhere to road rules...they are a higher risk when traffic is busy.
Thank you Senator Roberts it is a growing problem and is getting worse add this to the road damage and it spells a lack of direction by our current political leadership and many transport operators are looking for change the current system is broken and neglected with many operators asking the question “Am I going to come home tonight “ ? One Nation thank you.
Excellent subject choice Mal, and spot on questions
Correct me if I'm wrong she is kiwi and and in high paying job egnoring road safety?
Check the volvo and mercedes insurance pay outs. And you wonder why they have such high sales.
Should we ban overseas visitors from driving on our roads ?
The work diary is a major factor to the problem.
I've been driving the east coast from Far North Queensland, Inland to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelade for Nearly 30yrs. I used to love my job supplying fruit, vegies and general freight but times have changed very quickly over the years. I could be long winded but in short. Government Insurance componies, big opperators and regulators have rueined the trucking industry. Influx of immigrant drivers that are not profesional are replacing Aussie drivers who are walking away because of over regulation, excesive fines, road conditions and cutting our trax returns by half. Thank you Senator Malcolm Roberts for at least probing into what is fast becoming a very dangerous industry. I'd love to chuck it in now too.
Regulations on drivers need to be relaxed, liabilities and sentences for owners and drivers in accidents need to be a hell of alot stronger.
I have never seen soo many trucks and semis using the far right (fast) lane and not moving out of it. That never used to happen and happens all the time now.
Excellent Senator Malcolm Roberts, Australia would be in much better shape if there was more Senators like him.
