After reading my post this morning on homelessness, a caring & concerned Sunny Coaster texted me the message below
The core issues in rampantly growing, catastrophic homelessness are:
- the cause is uncontrolled mass immigration
- it affects everyone directly or indirectly
- it impacts across society
- it’s killing Australian culture
“Just read your post about immigration. It’s a very sad state of affairs.
Once upon a time we had 1 homeless person here living in the beach dunes, now we have loads of homeless in dunes (which are meant to be protected & prohibited spaces under state law as dunes & vegetation is vital for keeping dunes strong & healthy to act as our first line of defence & also for the turtles to lay in & wildlife to flourish).
2 new ones popped up this week in a small stretch I’ve never seen them in before. Complete with their shopping trolleys, blow up mattress & left it litter strewn & a mess.
Personally I don’t mind they are in the back dunes if they’re not damaging vegetation or the dune - but sadly that’s not what we’re seeing.
They are now in the frontal and back dunes, cut down tree limbs to make fire or clearance for their bedding, leave litter everywhere etc. and some have mental health issues & are aggressive.
Council isn’t finding them places to stay because there is no where safe for them to stay & no one seems to be helping them with their mental challenges either.
Such a huge problem but one that can be solved if there was a decent supply of affordable housing for residents first, then others.
Numerous times a day you’ll see a post saying we’re moving to the Sunshine Coast.
Everyday day you see a post from a local long term resident saying they’re leaving because they can’t afford the rent here.
It’s displacing people, it’s alienating them from their families, social circles, and home. I truly hope the federal & state government prioritise this issue & help every Aussie to at the very least have a roof over their head again.”
This resident works voluntarily for the community because they care about the Sunny Coast community

This makes me so angry. These are the stories MSM refuse to acknowledge and report on. The average Australian has no idea what is actually going on in this country because it's not on channels 7, 9 and 10. It is appalling and there's no end in sight. It's just getting worse and worse.
And they just bought in more!!!! Given our housing, welfare and citizenship. Disgusting. I do not consent my tax dollars supporting this never ending immigration. I want my tax dollars spent in Australia for Australian people first. This needs to stop.
They’re not going to prioritize Aussies because they know exactly what they’re doing and they don’t care
It makes me so angry when I read the various councils heartless responses to the homelessness crisis. Tearing down their tents, throwing their belongings away and fining them. These poor people have nothing and the authorities have zero empathy or compassion.
It's terrible the way our government is treating our people It's so very sad how detached they are to people's suffering.
So the government can find plenty of cash to house new immigrants but not for public housing for Australian citizens ??
And it will never change while people voting for them.
Current govt won't solve this, they created it Albanese has forgotten his housing commission roots when he was a member of the communist party
Same in Far North Queensland. So many people moving here too and there isn't any homes for them. Why do they keep coming. Displacing locals and driving up the cost of housing.
The bottom line is that the government's in every state have No idea how many are homeless , further , I don't believe they want to resove the situation proof being highest immigration on record most , from 3rd world countries , bringing their hatreds with them , increased crime rates , prisons full and courts so lenient , people have no or little recourse for justice , it's only going to get worse until the the general populace stand up and say No More
Its a disgrace that working people can’t afford a house, we should be one of the richest countries in the world with our resources, and pay no tax.
We can't afford to live here anymore, let alone retire here and we will be relocating overseas
That’s absolutely right our country should be debt free and very prosperous but our government has a given it all away. You can thank labour and liberal and the nationals. They sold us out have been for years and years selling it off peace by peace criminal really they should be locked up but no, they get a huge wage forever
Wow how did this happen you Australia you all voted and hear we are the government just let us down again it is all about money and how they look
Don't hold your breath waiting for the Government to fix what they've created.
I know for a fact housing have been told to look after new arrivals first ,Aussies last
Yep I had to leave the sunny coast which is my home born in Brisbane raised on the sunny coast now I am living in nsw with my daughter and 4 kids I can't afford to rent a place for myself being on the disability pension the rents a far to high I never imagined this is where my life would be at 52 if it wasn't for my daughter I would be one of them homeless people on the sunny coast right now
Not just sunny coast, most Fraser coast residents can’t even get a rental because rents are so high, I’ve got friends that have been trying for 2 yrs and still nothing, but I noticed the immigration ones get rentals straight away over local people.
My next question to everybody in this post when is enough enough when are we going to stand up and fight back and actually have a civil war take our flight to Melbourne straight to the politicians and let them know this is not good enough as a country we never asked for slavery you're meant to govern the country not the people
After cv madness I'm glad I made the choice, packed my bags and moved overseas, sad to say, I'll never go back. 🙁
All part of the agenda. 🙁
What happened to the accommodation that was build for Covid quarantine
Unfortunately, the Government and their back up, the Greens, are too one eyed and arrogant in seeing what their non policy on homelessness and their push for a big Australia via mass immigration is actually doing to this country. Being protected against the problems they are causing for their arrogance will not stop this problem from getting worse. Their mass immigration policy is going to turn Australia from a once happy, easy going welcoming nation to one that will hate or at least dislike immigrants and that will be on the government and their side kicks. Until they wake up and put Australians first we are going to be in all sorts of trouble. Out kids and grand kids are going to be in even more despair because of the arrogance of the ALP and Greens. You don’t have to be blind freddy to see where we will end up, just look at overseas countries experiencing the same bloody mindless stupid from other governments. Until they wake up their will be know good to come from this…
Yes Malcolm, very worrying however please do not forget that this is what Australians just voted for. Completely un-affordable housing. No mater what anyone says, the reason behind it is excessive migration. And we have already been told that millions more will arrive before the next election. A visa and a how to vote card handed to them as they go though customs.
I was a coordinator of support on a mental health/ homelessness program in 2017 - pre NDIS. I worked on the transition from the old funding model to the new. During that time, the Federal government took mental health funding from the State governments and incorporated it into the NDIS framework. At the time, we had 187 clients who were eligible for early intervention services through various programs, which we delivered to them. I personally submitted numerous access requests to NDIS for these clients as their programs were all unfunded. Only 3 met the access requirements. We were gobsmacked. These were clients who had been successfully case managed and supported by early intervention services for several years, services needed to maintain a tenancy, build capacity to engage in society positively and stay out of jail/hospital. One example of a client denied; 30 discharge summaries from acute care mental health services, starting at 15 years of age and up to 42 years of age, including from a mental health corrections facility. He had an acquired brain injury in addition to that, which resulted in mild intellectual disability and impaired executive functioning. "No proof of permanence" was the reason given for denying the request. I and my team lodged repeat appeals, including with peer reviewed, multi page documents describing why that is not a correct assessment, to no avail. There were many similar cases, since our programs were funded only to support the most vulnerable and disturbed adults, who cannot function in society without ongoing, early intervention supports. During the transition consultation period, with and initiated by the NDIA intended to alleviate the incomprehensible level of submissions of concern from the sector, none of the senior staff nor management were taken seriously, despite guaranteeing that we would be and the purpose of the meetings to make amendments to the NDIS system before roll out. Foremost was the fact that the "line items" (support framework) provided nothing for which mental health clients required and therefore, it was not possible to successfully apply for the funding. For the few that can be made to fit the bureaucratic boxes, the skill level of support required also isn't funded. (A certificate 3 disability worker is not qualified to engage with nor support a complex mental health client.) Mental Health does not belong in the Disability framework and needs its own funding model. The only funding for mental health now available, apart from NDIS, which very, very few qualify for, is Child and Youth, with ridiculously long waiting times, and acute care. (Where admission to a mental health facility and treatment orders are required) for the rest, they are on their own. 1000's of them in every state.

yep one.nation got my vote
Hi Malcolm, can you do something regarding the Chemtrails being sprayed all over Queensland and the rest of Australia?
VOTED FOR YOU IN THE SENATE…❤️
We stand with you Senator Malcolm Roberts ONE NATION 🙏
respect you, Senator Roberts. You’ve always been vocal, and I genuinely admire that you stand up for the people. But if we’re flying the flag of truth and accountability, then let’s put it all on the table: • Truth and accountability for Santos, Gina Reinhart, and the gas giants who somehow dodge fair taxation while the everyday Aussie covers their tab. • Truth and accountability in carbon emissions, and an honest look at renewable energy, without running scare campaigns to protect fossil fuel profits. • Truth and accountability in political donations—who’s backing who, and how much are they all getting? Let the people see it. • Truth and accountability in censorship—because if I speak the truth on a politician’s page and get censored for it, that’s not democracy. That’s control. • And while we’re at it—truth and accountability in how you handle the truth itself. Not one of them wants a real conversation. So tell me, Senator—are my comments correct? Or will this one disappear too?

Living In Asia Is BETTER Than Australia Australia was the dream — now Aussies are escaping to Asia just to survive. More and more Australians are packing their bags and heading overseas. Not for a gap year. Not for a holiday. But to live. And where are they going? Asia. Thailand. Vietnam. Malaysia. Bali. Places once seen as holiday escapes are now becoming full-time homes for everyday Aussies. Why? Because for many, **living in Asia is better than struggling in Australia**. Let’s break it all down — cost of living, quality of life, healthcare, housing, and more — to see why Australians are saying goodbye to the so-called lucky country and hello to something that actually works.
All the best Senator Malcolm Roberts
You Can't Please Everyone. You are Doing a Great Job 👍

Cannot trust labour or liberal. I have more faith in Nats than the two above. I hope Jacinta has not made a bad move. I would have like to see her stay with Nats.

The right to vote in this country, should be withheld from non citizens and students, but be available after 5 years of citizenship. This too should apply to immigrants wanting to get into politics, but that should be 6 to 10 years.
We stand with you Senator Malcolm Roberts ONE NATION 🙏
