The Greens have shown their true colours with calls to nationalise essential services, a pipe dream that our economy simply cannot afford.
Government-run industries and state-owned supermarkets sound like a fantasy, yet we all know that when politicians try to control everything, everyday Australians pay the price through total government overreach, inefficiency, and incompetence.
Imagine if you will a Greens-run government supermarket: no plastic packaging (bring your own bags and scoop out your purchase), Aboriginal Australians would shop first, then migrants with brown skin — Senator Faruqi's description, not mine — then gay and bi folk, then men dressed as women, followed by actual women, and then straight white men last, if anything is left.
The shelves will carry only brown onions (white onions are cancelled), staff are color-coded by hair dye, green in produce, blue in cleaning aisle, and meat rations are down to one lamb chop or one cockroach per week, WEF-style.
And the store is only open for 20 minutes on Friday morning because employees are absent on paid leave for everything from stress to gender reassignments to union meetings, or annual leave from having leave. Not to mention – working from home.
If this sounds ridiculous, that’s because extreme government control always is!
We’ve already seen the disastrous results of trying to nationalise the energy market under the guise of saving the planet: skyrocketing bills and sheer incompetence. The private sector belongs in business; government belongs in governance.
One Nation supports strategic public infrastructure, like rail and a government owned bank, to ensure a fair go for everyday Australians.
One Nation will always stand against extreme, far-left overreach.

I laugh every time I see little Mal from Mumbai post. Keep us laughing little guy.
When the telephone service and electricity were government owned, the service was both more reliable and cheaper.
So funny! I can picture it all!
And who would be in the Politburo…?
WA has state run power and gas. We have a reliable supply for the most part with bills being nowhere near as expensive as the Eastern States ... because our state governments didn't sell us out.
Actually love this description 🤣
Senior Robert’s I love everything you say in parliament.
I agree the Greens are not the ones we want in charge of those essential services... But. I truly believe actual essential services (electricity, water, sewerage etc) should never have been privatised. That doesn't mean private commercial operators couldn't compete in the same markets, or sell their product to the state owned services. Privatising anything always ends in profit over service.
Great work Senator Malcolm Roberts 👍
So you want us to have more expensive power? Because that's what privatisation has delivered. On one hand you moan about how expensive power is driving out industry, and on the other hand you want even more for-profit private involvement in the sector. Maximising profit and maximising affordability of utilities are fundamentally oppposing concepts. Look at WA's example...they told the gas giants to shove it if they didn't agree to a domestic reserve, and they came crawling and grovelling back. And WA has power and gas much cheaper than the East Coast as a result.
It's working for Mamdani, we just need to tax the rich to make these things work.
Yes! This! Well said. Time people were able to see what’s coming on this trajectory. Please keep making it plain for the simples.
This is a straight up straw man argument and has no merit. In WA we have state owned electricity and it's cheaper than what you have over east. Meanwhile our government owned trains are cheaper and nicer than the privately owned ones in NSW. Our state run prisons are much better run than the private ones run by SERCO. Sometimes government run stuff is just better.
Hilarious if it wasn't true. Wfh 2 days a week everything free. Only su and wind. Even then you probably can't have a wood stove
Norway can afford it……..
lol that cracked me up! Thanks, Senator Roberts! 😅

As always good to listen to the truths you speak.
It makes sense, they use taxpayer funds for projects run by companies making big profits, about time Aussie taxpayers started getting return on their money.
🇦🇺 THE TRUTH ABOUT HEALTH INITIATIVE FUNDING IN AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺 When you strip away general hospital operational pools and look strictly at individual, population-specific health funding packages announced by the government, men are left with a tiny fraction of the budget. The hard numbers expose the exact funding and tax divide: 📉 THE FEDERAL BUDGET SPLIT (National Level) Women’s Specific Initiatives: $792.9 MILLION dedicated strictly to individual women’s health strategies and specialized clinics. Children’s Specific Initiatives: Multi-million dollar protected funds explicitly ring-fenced for youth healthcare, dental benefits, and pediatric frameworks. Men’s Specific Initiatives: Just $22.5 to $32 million total. 👉 THE RATIO: For sex-specific health strategy packages, approximately 98% of the funding goes to women’s initiatives, and less than 2% goes to men’s initiatives. 🏥 THE WA STATE BUDGET SPLIT (State Level) Women’s Specific Initiatives: $106.3 MILLION explicitly set aside for family and women-only health and community frameworks. Children’s Specific Initiatives: $619 MILLION explicitly ring-fenced for child protection, out-of-home pediatric care, and early youth intervention pathways. Men’s Specific Initiatives: $0. There is no individual, sex-specific funding category or budget line item dedicated strictly to men's health strategies in the WA State Budget. 🔬 THE MEDICAL RESEARCH PIPELINE GAP (NHMRC Data) 86% of all sex-specific medical research funding in Australia is awarded to women's health ($887 million over ten years). 14% is awarded to men's health ($168.8 million over ten years). 💰 THE TAXPAYER CONTRIBUTION DISPARITY (ATO / PBO Data) 64% of all personal income tax revenue in Australia is paid by men. 36% of personal income tax revenue is paid by women. 👉 THE REALITY: Men generate nearly two-thirds of the country's personal tax revenue, yet receive less than 2% of targeted sex-specific health initiative funding back in return. Key Takeaways: Taxation vs. Allocation Imbalance: Despite generating the majority of the tax base that funds government budgets, men receive virtually zero dedicated line-item return for men-specific health infrastructure. Policy Neglect: While governments announce multi-million-dollar standalone packages for women's and children's health initiatives, men's health strategies receive almost no targeted financial backing at either the Federal or State level. #MensHealth #AusPol #WAHealth #HealthcareEquality #Underfunded #TaxpayerFairness
State owned essential services were part of the Australia I grew up in, the same Australia ON professes to mourn the passing of.
Jeez I don't exactly agree with the greens but this is a whole bunch of nonsense. The alternative to state-run supermarkets is the price gouging duopoly that we currently have. You can't say that the current system benefits australians.
The airports were sold off. Now when you go to an airport, everything in there is rip off prices - parking, food, coffee etc
Laughing my ass off at the description if this wasn't exactly what would happen of they got their way
Labor's HIGH TAXING Treasurer is robbing young Australians of their chance to own a home by raiding their investments.

A question for you Malcolm. With a fertility rate of under 1.5 children per women, Australia is dying demographically. As a result our welfare state will crumble under the financial pressure of maintaining expenditures whilst the burden is shifted to fewer people. Given you want fewer migrants and your opposed to a system of self financing pensions (super), how do you propose to avoid massive tax hikes.
My two children, 30 and 24, have managed to buy their homes. It would seem maybe just hard work does pay off.
Senator Malcolm Roberts a couple of big years ahead
RBA rate hike this year = 87% chance
Talking truth Malcom it’s great to hear a senator talking about the cgt changes to investments like bitcoin & asx listed companies they shouldn’t have been included in these ridiculous reforms keep up the great work carve out these companies well done Senator Malcolm Roberts vote ON
Expert making noise here !
Tpyally cptrect Malcolm..ee need rod of overentitled overpaid overtaxing overcontroling commo parasites.
We need One Nation. The current PATHETIC Labor, Greens and Teals Parties are destroying Australia.
You fucking twat.
Sit down where we can’t see you! 🤬🤬🤬
How are they raiding their investments? Are you suggesting the taxes a bad thing? Are you happy to pay for all our infrastructure and roads and hospitals all by yourself? How very generous of you! Your contempt for Australians is disgusting. You really think they will believe your nonsense. Most of us know better. We know that you are the political equivalent of a flat Earther.
The media tried to smear me to weaken One Nation and they failed.
Their pile-on was nothing more than a distraction from the truth now spilling out in the United States. Anthony Fauci's — a primary face of the federal COVID-19 response in the US — own dairies and phone records expose the lies, the cover-ups, and the man-made origins of COVID.
These documents show exactly what I've been saying for years. COVID was engineered, the public was misled, early treatments were suppressed, and the injections were pushed despite known failures and risks.
While the media called me a "conspiracy theorist", Nobel-willing scientists and US defence officials were confirming the same facts.
Every Australian was lied to, jabbed or unjabbed. Every one of us!
This is why we need a full royal commission into COVID.
No more cover-ups. No more corporate influence over public health.
Justice for those harmed and accountability for those who orchestrated this scandal.

Thank you Senator Malcolm Roberts. You have stood for us that have been injured by the vaccine. I have been to icu with a flare up of my now chronic heart problems, got out less than a week again. I require heart medications for life and am not able to run around or do normal things like I could before. The fact you continued to fight along with others helped people like me feel like there were some working for us and making our voices heard. ⭐️ It is not a conspiracy! I have had all others vaccines in my life, but this one was something else for sure!!
No such thing as conspiracy theories they are facts
Are tin foil hats banned in the senate?

Well done Malcolm You're a true mate to Australia 🇦🇺
I could not give a hoot, what the media or the other parties say about senator Malcolm Roberts. I praise God for his fearlessness, his diligence and articulate and scientific ability to expose the continuous lies; political and economic sabotage and hypocrisy, assaulting our nation.
King cooker.
The worm HAS turned indeed!
Thank you Malcolm 🙌 People should be wildly angry about this!! Our way of life and health changed forever, businesses, freedoms, prosperity, relationships and lives lost based on a lie....so many lies
Stay tight one nation! 🧡 Love your work Senator Malcolm!🧡🧡🧡
You were right Malcolm.
Cooker in the house!
Thank you so much for your honesty, courage, boldness, integrity, faithfulness and loyalty to all Australians Senator Malcolm Roberts. I appreciate your compassion for those who have died or been injured by Covid vaccines. Thank you for showing compassion to Australians who have lost loved ones, friends, colleagues, neighbours and team mates to Covid vaccines. Thank you for not forgetting Australians who lost their jobs, Australians who were cut off from their family, Australians who kicked out of their family Christmas lunches, social clubs and those who couldn’t visit sick family or go to weddings because they refused to be part of the, “Trust the Science,” experiment. Thank you for remembering and representing those who have been injured by Covid vaccines and suffer great physical, emotional, financial, social and mental pain everyday. 🙏✝️ May the whole truth be revealed in all our Australian parliament houses, legislative councils, and court rooms.
