If you feel like you're going backwards, you aren't imagining it - it's real.
Over the last 5 years, Australia has experienced one of the fastest and worst declines in living standards in the OECD.
This means that every Australian is worse off under Labor.
You're earning less and you're spending more to survive.
This is a failure of policy.
It's a failure of the Labor government.
There is no reason for you and your family to be suffering like this.

That’s you Albo if you’re wondering
It’s called the Albo effect.
That was the plan from the beginning. Remember, You will own nothing and be happy.
Referencing a Sky News article isn’t exactly an unbiased source.
Pauline from One Nation has highlighted this for years
It a fact, not an opinion.
And we sit and we wait for our Billy to boil. You'll come a Waltzing Matilda with me. Im guessing a lot of Billy's have boiled dry ay?
"Shadow minister claims"
Well at least Albo will have an achievement he can talk about.
Creep alert Albo has entered the room
Because she is one of them
Not all Australians, political class seems pretty well fed.
Gandalf is waiting for you Malcolm
As told by sky news lol
One step forward, two steps backwards that’s how it feels
But apparently his the preferred prime minister 😂
100% agree
If toilet paper had a face…
But that claim is on Sky!?
So what can legally be done to bring Labor into account?
My word is my bond and we changed our position on that as well. 😡😡😡😡😡
I'm 71 and can't retire cos can't afford to pay rent ins electricity rego etc...on age pension..no affordable housing or govt housing for us..getting up at 0415 5 days a week as ain is hard.. never thought I would end up like this
We are rich in resources and give it all away
Vote One Nation on the way!
Mass immigration is having a negative impact on our living standards.
One Nation will return to a sensible and sustainable immigration program that benefits Australians and does not threaten our social cohesion - or our fair dinkum Aussie identity.

So its ok for Malcolm Roberts to immigrate, but no one else?
What do you define as “mass immigration”? Genuine question. Can you also provide the data or numbers showing that Australia’s current migration rate is unsustainable or is directly causing the decline in living standards? It’s a significant claim, so I’d be interested in seeing the evidence behind it.
Immigration hasn't negatively affected my living standards. In fact I have found reliable tradespeople who are happy to have a job and bring real skills to the job done. I have encountered cheery wait staff who treat me well and love their job. I relied on conscientious aged care staff who treated our loved ones well. Immigration is what has made this country.
First you invent a problem then pretend to solve it.
Statistics prove that One Nation politicians have the least grievances during February. February has the least days.
One nation is the only way
Is malcolm going to build a wall
voting for politicians is the adult form of writing a letter to Santa
One Nation.....the only ONE listening to Australians ! 😊
Easily done: there isn’t any such thing, as the Bureau of Statistics will tell you.
We currently have the lowest immigration rates we’ve had in years. Just because you see someone with different colour skin to you doesn’t automatically mean they’ve just immigrated 😂
How's the tin foil hat mal?
OK, so what number is it then? 🙄
Coming from little Mal from Mumbai. 😅🤣😂
You tell them Malcolm Roberts voting one nation 🇦🇺
Cooker alert
There are two sides to this issue, without migration our house prices would drop, rents would drop but so would our economy, which is built on building houses and servicing the building industry. On the other side social cohesion would improve, crime rates would drop (likely) and there would be less stress on infrastructure, less traffic congestion etc. We need to be aware of ALL the issues, there are always two sides to every argument. Japan is an example of a no migration nation, their standard of living has dropped dramatically but they are still surviving on less, adapting and above all it's a very safe, clean and seemingly happy country. It reminds me of Switzerland but with a very strong culture and lower living standards.
And critical thinking 🤔
As much as I hope you are the answer, sadly all politicians do their best work in opposition
Curry munching cooker Roberts
Ahh the old 'Bad cop, Good cop play'
Stand Tall big fella,
Makes good sense Wonder if Liberal will be displaying their costings.
We need one nation. My vote is locked in, can’t wait for the next election.
It will end it if it gets in! Good luck Im hoping for that!
During the February Estimates hearings, I pressed the government and the Illicit Tobacco Commissioner on the ineffectiveness of their strategy to combat the illicit tobacco market.
Tobacco excise revenue is projected to fall to just $1.9 billion leading into 2029-30, far below the $16 billion-plus previously collected. A clear sign the government does not expect its enforcement efforts to meaningfully reduce the black market.
The Commissioner’s own report lists 10 drivers of illicit tobacco yet fails to directly acknowledge that high excise and the resulting price gap are major contributors, despite everyday Australians, including police officers, confirming this reality.
Independent data from Roy Morgan shows smoking rates have increased from 16.8% to 17.1% following recent excise hikes, contradicting the government’s claim that higher taxes reduce smoking.
Without knowing the true size of the black market, boasting about a 34% increase in seizures of illicit product is meaningless. We cannot measure success when you don’t know the scale of the problem.
The government continues to act without reliable data, ignores evidence that contradicts its assumptions, and refuses to confront the policy settings driving the illicit tobacco growth.
This is a failure that Australians should not be forced to tolerate. It's costing taxpayers billions in lost revenue.
One Nation will take drastic action until the illicit market is wiped out, then return duty to a much lower, more sensible and sustainable rate.

Putting the cart before the horse there... If you dramatically reduce the exorbitant tobacco taxes, the black market will not be able to sustain itself, and you won't have to hunt them all down 💁♀️
Legalise the growth of tobacco plants in Australia then people Grow their own problem solved.
I'm still trying to come to terms that we have a "Illicit Tobacco Commissioner" 😂
You don’t need to assume anything. Just read the comments. There are people among them that are openly saying they won’t buy retail cigarettes because they’re getting much cheaper cigarettes through other means. And the only reason why tobacco is so expensive in this country is because of taxes and excise. The government created the demand for a black market
Price differential is the key to why cheap tobacco is around
Time to licence people to grow their own for personal use... $1000 a year... and illicit tobacco and organised crime in this sector would dissappear forever.
Pretty simple. Halve the excise and there won't be an illegal tobacco trade..plus the government gets some tax back
Malcolm I like you but don't vilify vapes. It's far healthier than government edition cigarettes that have hundreds of chemicals on them where is a vape juice that's made properly can have vegetable glycerine VG propeline glycol PG and natural flavours or essence. Maybe we should get rid of the billion dollar big tobacco industries and bring back proper old school tobacconist again who sell natural products
Tax collected on a packet of cigarettes is around $40. I think that's more than enough money to pay any health care costs in later life. The government should address the costs to the community and health in regards to Alcohol. It causes more deaths, assaults, costs and disruption to the community than any other drug.
For a 30g pouch of tobacco $100 $73 of that goes to the government
Our lungs, our choice...sup with the discrimination against tobacco smokers.
I don't know one smoker who is not buying illegally imported cigarettes and the simple reason is COST!! Just reduce the tax and everyone will buy legal cigarettes and end the organised crime element. It's not rocket science!!!
The government created this with their taxes. Unless they can match the "illicit" sales price of tobacco and sell the rum and and other flavour tobacco products again, people will not change.
What about the twenty thousand dollars tobacco license to sell tobacco quiet sure that doesn’t add up
Why are these people getting paid so much money when they don't even know what they're talking about it's plain and simple you put the price of the normal tobacco back down and the black market won't compete anymore
The government has priced them selves out of the market 🤪
Malcolm the MAN
Honestly you cant rely on revenue from tabacco tax. Your aim was to lower smokers to zero. How much tax would you be getting if no one smoked? None so no tabacco tax to rely on. Tabacco tax was to discourage wasnt it? Not to profit. But it seems the governments aim WAS to profit.
So bad huh but yet legal to sell 🤣🤣
The biggest criminal activity to do with tobacco is the amount of money the government makes of it , and dont put it back into the health system
It isn't rocket science drop the taxes that the government charges and people won't buy from illegal shops the taxes are ridiculous 😡😡😡
They clearly haven't got a clue.
The greater, far more serious issue is not the sale of cheap tobacco products, but the fact these banned products made it through, and continue to freely pass Australia's supposedly secure borders. If commercial quantities of illicit products are entering unchecked, then what else is being missed ? Are our borders safe ?
As a ex tobacco farmer in Victoria I still remember when we as growers were receiving $6.00 per kg of cured leaf and the government were making $293.00kg.
Stop dribbling and answer the question!
