Unfortunately, due to a series of deeply personal and traumatic events—including my husband’s cancer diagnosis, a motorbike accident, and my father’s heart attack—I had no choice but to withdraw from candidacy. Throughout this process, I was assured the $2,000 candidate fee would be refunded. It's now been four months, and despite following up, I’m still waiting. The lack of communication and follow-through has been incredibly disappointing and has left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I hope One Nation values transparency and integrity as much as it claims to, and will resolve this matter promptly. Others considering candidacy deserve to know what they’re getting into.

I just adore the ignorant sods who are still rabbiting on about "cookers". As someone who had to keep working because I was self employed and received no govt assistance during COVID, I was forced to have 2 AZ jabs. I have since had 2 incidences of blood clots on the lungs and on blood thinners every day. And before some kind soul offers an alternative remedy to tablets, the last episode was medium clots even though I was cleared and not on medication after the first bout. I just can't afford to take a risk playing with possible alternatives. So those arrogant "know it all cooker accusations" bite to the core when I know for a fact, that shit is/was toxic

Unfortunately when a woman becomes single after a long marriage and being the domestic partner she will find herself impoverished, unable to re enter the workforce, with zero superannuation and often homeless.

Both parrents working is developed so 'they' could tax bouth parrents instead of one and the children grow up with lesser love......

We're certainly no better off for both parents working.

Here's a crazy idea just let people live their life the way they want to. Yes I want to be a mom one day but I have worked too hard and long to get where I am, I'm not giving up my career and I shouldn't have to, it's called having a choice. We don't ask men to give up their careers when they become fathers. Most of the time both parents have to work full time just to survive. If a parent mother or father wants to be able to stay home with the children they should be able but the choices are up to them.

Yeah... imagine how much propaganda it took to convince women that paid work is better than unpaid work, no breaks and no autonomy.

And the shame of it all, stay at home mums were made feel less for staying at home raising their children and now children are put into “care” facilities where other people “raise” them & get paid for it & made feel special because they have a certificate to say they can do it 🤪

Now I just bake in my spare time and spend time with my kids in spare time. And work for a boss during the week. I think women do so much more now and are so much more stressed.
