Who read the reports? Who considered the warnings? Who signed off on the risks?
At Senate Estimates, I asked officials from the Department of Defence whether the officer responsible for operational airworthiness had read key reports, considered critical safety assessments, and reviewed evidence relating to the approval of TopOwl 5.10.
Did he read the German report? Defence couldn’t say.
Did he read the Navy test report in full? Defence couldn’t say.
Was he aware of Army test findings that raised serious flight safety concerns? Defence couldn’t say.
Question after question was taken on notice.
This isn’t about hindsight. It’s about understanding what evidence was considered, what warnings were known, and how decisions affecting the safety of Australian aircrew were made.
Those answers matter.

Truckies from Western Australia and Queensland have shared with me some serious on-the-ground concerns, suggesting that many Indian immigrants are obtaining licenses too easily or operating without them.
While the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator maintains their systems are risk-based and ethnicity-agnostic, these frontline driver concerns must be addressed.
Every driver on our roads must be fully qualified and safe.

Fact: if you want cheaper groceries, the first step MUST be to lower energy bills.
From the diesel in the tractor, to the irrigation pumps on the farm, the refrigeration in transit, the processing plants and the lights in the supermarket, energy is one of the biggest costs at every single step from production to the consumer.
Yet unelected bureaucrats and politicians force inhuman net-zero policies - which are NOT saving the planet. They're sending electricity prices through the roof.
And when energy costs soar, the cost of everything soars.
Deliberately driving up the cost of energy raises the cost of living.
The Liberal government started every economy destroying climate/energy policy. Then the Labor-Greens government turbo-charged each policy when it was their turn.
Only One Nation will scrap the climate madness, unleashing our abundant, cheap Australian coal and gas.
We will restore common sense to our energy market so families, farmers, workers and industries can prosper once again.

BREAKING: YouTube has suddenly banned me from uploading, posting or live streaming for two weeks
The reason given is dozens of videos, some more than 6 months old, that have only now been flagged as an issue.
This includes multiple videos calling for a COVID Royal Commission.
Thank you for meme, David
I co-signed the Digital ID Repeal Bill alongside Senators Antic, Babet, Canavan, Hanson and Rennick, which was introduced into the Senate earlier today.
