Problem with the work place relations changed introduced by the likes of Howard and Abbott and co, created such confusion in removing entitlements and award wages is that corporations and businesses could pay individuals dirrerent rates such that employees did not know what a true worth or rate was for a fair day's work. Companies cut back on wage increases and when awarded were low like 17c an hour or less than $2 per day. Superannuation often not paid or of so like overtime awarded at the end of the week or month such that someone could work a 13 hour day or 16 hour back to back shift rather than a 8-10 how but not be paid overtime as throughout the week those extra ohours would be reduced from the weekly total?? Employees had carte blanch and employees their rignts and entitlements removed. Leave loading disappeared. Thisn didnt only apply to private businesses but Government also. How many teacher's were paid additional salary for time spent on school excursions and camps, night duty and supervision; additional time spent during lunch hours and evenings on administration work as often split RFF time, yard duty, and other our of hours tasks?
